The Roku is great, but obviously Roku doesn't make sure the supplied remote batteries are fresh

If you buy this product you will have to purchase a second remote because the original remote drains (kills) the battery within 3-4 days even if it’s not used.

This is with pretty fresh Duracell batteries and a small kitchen TV.

One of the two boxes arrived with a broken seal, the batteries were loose in the box without the cellophane covering, and part of the literature had also been removed from the cellophane
