Just like everyone else, Netflix works just fine using the same connection on all my other devices and all the other apps work just fine on the Roku
-
Bad connection, poor English, an complete confusion about the problem
-
When I returned in mid-August, it began losing the Internet connection after a few hours of play.
-
Loses connection all the time and when it does work, the picture is distorted
-
I don't know why, but I get a better Wifi connection with these than I do with my Roku 4K TV and my Roku Premiere+ (both of which support 802.11ac)
-
I do have a problem with it losing internet connection while I'm watching shows
-
* Always loses its wifi connection even though the router is in the same room and no other devices have issues
-
and I have the cheapest internet connection.
-
I use this roku stick for like 2 weeks everything was perfect except for it loosing connection to the WiFi to often

The remote loses its connection with the streaming stick multiple times each month

It looses connection easily when you touch the wire.
-
Strong WI-FI connection.

As long as you have a decent Internet connection, you can get enough content to cut the cord.
-
Powerful WiFi connection with my phone for private listening using the (Roku) app

Wifi is not the most reliable option, plugging a dongle into the rear HDMI port of a TV with a power wire hanging off the end does not make for a very solid mechanical connection

It does not work well keeps loosing internet connection
-
, hi-res LCD TV and a slow Internet connection (i.e. 25Mbps, such as low-end cable connections)i was initially stumped, stymied, and frustrated, but eventually - after changing at least one setting on my old b/g router, got fairly good 720p results on our 50" Visiosetup was not painless - you're going to have to give up your credit card info to yet another company despite the fact that you may never, ever spend any money on streaming nonsense
-
Just remember that it is only as good as your wifi connection
-
Seems to keep a connection fine so far
-
For my mom, the connections to Netflix and Amazon are far more solid than with her DVD player.
-
i accessed my router's web-based set up and assigned the default from auto to channel 5 - 2427Mhzvoila! much better connection - adequate for 720pthis little stick is a great solution for us - the little dwarf Italian lady we bought our home from had, for some ungodly reason, the cable outlets installed on the 'wrong' wall of our home - short of crawling through the 3-foot-high attic, splicing into the running cable, then running electrician's tape down the wall hopefully in-between the studs, the Roku allows us to use our large TV on a wall with no cable outlet (yes we need cable, as my wife and her 89-year-old father insist on it - i can live without TV
-
However, this HD Roku Streaming Stick constantly loses its pairing connection with its Roku remote control
-
It will lose connection at least 5 times a day
-
It streams Netflix, menus works fast and video generally looks fine, but the unit gets too hot (runs at 86 degrees C IDLE according to the secret menu) and the remote control buttons are harder to push and click very loudly, which is something more subjective but in my case I hate it
