Roku Ultra | 4K/HDR/HD Streaming Player with Enhanced Remote (Voice, Remote Finder, Headphone Jack, TV Power and Volume), Ethernet, MicroSD and USB

    • Love the almost unlimited apps.
    • I would still be using it if my favorite apps had not recently updated and seemed to bog down with the older processors in that particular box
    • The Android app is much better but it keeps disconnecting.
    • After trying the older apple tv's and chromecasts I settled on Roku as being the fastest, easiest to use and features the best apps.
    • The Roku app for it is not very stable, and you'll end up watching mostly buffering and low resolution, even hardwired with a fast internet connection
    • I think the Vizio app is way easier to navigate and figure out than the
    • Great product a lot of free apps to use.
    • Besides not having an illegal streaming app called Kodi there is no reason to buy anything over this streaming player.
    • I've enjoyed it, but it is far less versatile, has far fewer options and not nearly as wide a range of compatible apps as the Roku Ultra
    • It has a number of cool services/apps to provide tons of entertainment.
    • I actually find the app to be way superior to the cable box for me that is, for non-techies that may not apply
    • The apps for everything I use are awesome.
    • My understanding is that there might be some more obscure channels and apps that people enjoy on Roku, but not quite anything I care about.
    • I really like using these with my Plex server and they have decent apps for all the rest of the services
    • At least my apps don't crash on Roku like they did in the Vizio TV.
    • My understanding is that there might be some more obscure channels and apps that people enjoy on Roku, but not quite anything I care about.
    • To the bad, the surprisingly small app library, lack of Dish Anywhere support, and making it hard to register without providing a credit card was not appreciated.
    • After hitting the shortcut (Netflix, for instance) it opens the app, but then glitches back and forth between the Netflix screen and the screensaver
    • Better then using smart TV apps.
    • The free app even downloads artwork, sometimes even subtitles and stuff, amazing
    • Fast access and apps load quickly.
    • Super fast, many many many apps and always up to date
    • The fact that you cannot load Android apps like KODI makes me look elsewhere.
    • You have to know your cable company's login and password and be near a computer to authenticate every app which is a huge pain if you want to have all of the popular network apps on your device
    • The quality of the streaming is great at all levels, the roku free channel has some good content, and it supports all the apps I use well
    • Very reliable, with a great app selection
    • Also, more apps need voice guidance, like YouTube.
    • Maybe there's another Roku app available that supports those formats, but the device should support those formats natively to the extent that any USB media player can open them and utilize all their features like subtitles and multiple audio tracks.
    • apps galore !
    • It's a snappy piece of hardware with lots of useful apps.
    • Easy to use lots of great apps
    • We have to keep the gamepad in the cradle which means we have to physically get off the couch to work the apps <let’s face it, most of us are too lazy to do that long term>.Roku was easy to connect and set up, controller is straightforward
    • Searching and loading apps is way faster than using a cable box
    • For the first few days, the roku was great with no problems loading the multiple apps and I really liked the remote's functionality and simplicity
    • All other apps though work great
    • do I really want to do that after every use??Overall the product was more frustrating to use than the smart apps on our Samsung
    • In order to fix that issue I got the Roku Ultra which truly has great features, remote and UI... and Netflix runs great with Hebrew subtitles, menus and media descriptions, but whilst the Prime Video service is also available where we live, the app for Prime Video in Roku is not available
    • We were using an Apple TV and an Amazon Fire Stick to stream favorite apps like Netflix, Hulu, NFL, etc
    • Quick loads, no buffering, great apps
    • I even found a MLG.tv app, whoa!
    • I love the simplicity of the UI and how fast the ROKU player loads apps.
    • Very good streaming player, this one is not missing any apps like some other players on the market (actually I take that back, there is not an official Twitch app at the moment, so if you want to watch Twitch obsessively you may want to reconsider)
    • We should be allowed to rebind these keys to 4 of our favorite apps instead of being forced to accidentally open one of these apps ( which may not even be installed )I have taken off 1 point because of the difficulty of using the device itself - older folks may have a hard time with it
    • Anywhere app that is nice.. picture and sound is good on Roku's...
    • More apps and the remote is fantastic.
    • Roku has the most apps and works very well!!
    • Easy to use ... supports many apps ... very reliable.
    • Plus I didn't have the issue running apps through the TV or Apple TV.
    • And finally, it supports all the apps I want and use, unlike the others that limited access so they could sell their own content.
    • I then tried hooking up a Roku streaming Stick+ that I had directly into the Tv, I got 4K on all apps like
    • Great features, easy to use, voice remote, and some nice apps as well
    • This “freeze out” went on for several weeks, including the apps for Amazon and Netflix.
    • I have a Samsung smart tv and was able to play HD videos flawlessly, however we decided to purchase the roku as occasionally the smart apps crashed
    • It is stuck on 720 pixels, and the picture sure does not look as good as on my Fire
