    Roland MIDI Cable (UM-ONE-MK2)

    • I'm taking off one star because it's not class-compliant (i.e., you need to install drivers before it'll work)
    • The latest 10.9 driver available on their site doesn't work with 10.10 (I tried), but I figured I'd give it a shot.3 stars (in the middle (i.e.: neutral review) because I can't evaluate it with my Mac at all at this time
    • However while installing the driver, no progress bars came up, led light flashed on/off once in awhile, but I gave up after 1/2 hour & ended up downloading 64 bit Win 8.1 drivers off Roland site
    • By the looks of their download page [...], it doesn't look like they update drivers at all for incremental updates
    • Running 10.9 (Yosemite) and Roland's recommended driver I could not get the USB power to work
    • device should have worked painlessly, but Roland has not yet updated drivers to work with Mac OS 10.10 at all
    • Windows 10 simple automatically find the correct driver by itself.

    • Looks like Roland released the 10.8 driver on 2012-07-26, but as of this writing, it hasn't been updated for Apple's latest incremental update (10.8.2)
