Ultimately I'd recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a simple, well-constructed and easy to use laptop stand, but I'd wait for a sale or for Roost to reduce the price a bit before you buy.

It is a really well-engineered product and with one use you can understand why it's worth $75 bucks.

My only hesitation would be with the price, because while it is a great product, I think people should think about what they really need from a stand--my second one ended up being used solely at home, so I didn't really need a folding stand, for example.

If I did not travel I would buy a more stable aluminum product that did not require a keyboard to use.
