I really like the fact that they are wound with monel which is a superior form of stainless that uses mostly nickel plus copper, iron, manganese, carbon, silicon and even a little titanium to produce an alloy that is almost entirely impervious to acids and corrosion which makes them keep looking good and the strength of monel keeps your Bass in tune far longer because they just don't stretch like common strings
