I was hoping to get the nice " heavy metal " old rotring , the rapid pro is nice and still looks like the old one, but iit has this sliding pipe that for those who still draw the old fashioned way, is a real lead breaker

The top and bottom halves are nice solid metal, a bit confused why the two very solid halves are joined by plastic.

I absolutely love the solid feel and the solid metal grip of this pencil
