The design is now flawed, for an anti-functional reason

The design is great, the grip it stupendous

a hole there?!?It looks terrible on an otherwise perfectly designed pencil, it is not functional

So I buy this for perfect weight and design

The design is amazing and the cool metal feel of the body automatically made this pencil my favorite

I started out using Steadtler lead holders before switching to mechanical pencils and for a long time preferred the design and feel of the early Pentel pencils and still like them.

Great design, comfortable to hold, won't roll off a desk, very well made and writes as one would expect a more expensive technical pencil to write.

I don't believe this to be a sign of a poorly designed pencil, just something to be aware of and hope that luck is on your side

I think this is somewhat proof of how well designed it is.

We as product designers love a nice design, we appreciate all the details that has been put into this pencil to make it this perfect

but it's weighted perfectly, given it's sturdier design.
