The all metal is wonderful, but if you like a little lighter, or more of a forward weighting, then the metal action with plastic body is the solution, which they also make in this same style.

But the Rotring takes it a step further making this portion of the pencil knurled metal (same as the grip employs) and tops it like a cherry with its iconic red ring "logo"

I found the tip of the pencil bends way too easy and when it fell on the ground from waist level, the top metal piece dented and the paint chipped away.
