The software is adequate for capturing the video, but I use a video editor from a different vendor to edit and burn the captured videos to DVD's.

However, a camera store will charge $30 per tape so this software is definitely a bargain.

and I will NOT be recommending this product to my friends and family, which is a shame because the hardware portion of this product worked out great, but as the title says, it's let down by poor software implementation and support.

My first system would not run the software due to Roxio causing a runtime error

I bought the product a few weeks ago and still have problems with the screen size but unfortunately to solve the problem I would probably have to pay for customer support which is not proper.the software works well on normal screen size.

I can't download the software because it's not compatible with Windows 10

Software is full of errors and won't burn to DVD.

I did have to dig up a vcr and cables but the software was great.

It may be fine software, but only if you buy it from the retailer, I had to return it to the Amazon seller

The Roxio Easy VHS to DVD system is great for your aging VHS tapes and allows you to view the tape and it converts and viewable as you upload to a desired file

Had to purchase the "Vidbox VHS to DVD 8" product to actually be able to capture successfully and reliably from both digital vidcam mini-cassette tapes as well as from VHS tapes
