I adore Bravely Default - but it has one of the blandest stories in a GOOD RPG I've played in awhile.

I was worried that this game wouldn't live up to my expectations, considering 3 is probably one of my favorite RPG's of all time

Best RPG,for 3ds its ass good as the rune factory 3 but even better,you have to try it, its the only way to enjoy it.

It's almost like a mix of Harvest Moon, Pokemon, and a classic RPG all rolled into one

definitely has the potential to compete for 'best handheld RPG storyline' which, in my opinion are held with 'golden sun dark dawn' taking second place and 'sands of destruction' taking first place.
