Love that each of the ports light up when turned on

But when one switch is activated some blue light shines through adjacent switches.

I also use it to charge my phone at my desk and run led lights that are behind my monitor.

Design drawback with the LED lights for the switches:

POWER NO LED LIGHT therefore unit was returned and a different supplier selected

flat then the activation buttons and LED lights are hard to see while if you place it on edge...and with such a short cable....it kinda sticks out like a sore thumb

The only tiny problem is that unless I turn each USB being used off, the blue light will glow when the room is dark, specifically when I go to sleep/

The lights still come on when the buttons are pressed, but only one of the ports is actually working.

Each port has its own on/off button and the buttons are outlined in a blue LED light when they are on.

However, the light for slot 3 only works intermittently and the light for slot 1 won't come on unless I have slot 2 turned on

I could also envision the individual power switches to be useful for toggling other USB accessories such as LED lights, fans, cameras, or game controllers.

Another minor issue is that the LED light up "blue bleed through" from nearby ports may confuse you into thinking that the port is on - when it is not

However, I also keep an LED light going at the same time using the power input to the Hub

This unit has a nice blue light for each usb connection and can turned on or off rather than unplugging

So, at least on mine, the blue light bleeds onto the white plastic frame of the switch next to it.

Finally, those blue lights are pretty bright and if you are a finicky sleeper - you may not want them in the same room where you are sleeping unless you throw a rag or towel over them

Very good product , it turned my useless USB port which disconnect itself and turns " unrecognized" by Windows after 30 seconds of use , turned it into 4 functional USB ports with great connectivity with no hussle ( I am using it for : wireless keyboard& mouse , data transfer , USB light bulb , and for whatever : charging, printer etc) and 4 ports would work simultaneously with no troubles

Blue lights to indicate which hub is active helps a lot, but the light is not intrusive at all to have in a darken room (bedroom).Been using this for over a month and have zero complaints.

I plugged the device into a USB port, depressed the button for port 1 and it's LED lit up

The buttons are flimsy and the LED lighting is cheap looking.

Friday I needlessly returned this product as defective because when I plugged it into the power adapter the individual port indicator LED's only lit for ports 2,3, and 4 when the corresponding button was depressed

the on/off switches seem to be a bit annoying/unnecessary - I always end up pressing it accidentally when I try to plug in an USB device.
