Sabrent 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub with Individual Power Switches and LEDs Included 5V/2.5A Power Adapter (HB-UMP3)

    • Nice to have switches for each port
    • The switches have a satisfying click to them and it never feels like they're going to accidentally get un-switched.
    • I have hardware like flight yokes, rudder pedals, switch panels and throttles all running to USB ports
    • All four ports work exactly as described and the buttons at the top are switches to turn the port on or off
    • The switches make it very easy to power on only the devices I need at the moment
    • : Works well for its intended purpose, but the LED lighting for the on/off switches seems haphazard at best
    • Also, the switches get a bit fussy about staying in the down position, and sometimes you've got to push it in 'with authority'.
    • An On/Off Switch on each USB port of the hub, a Godsend after losing a brand new $49.95 Kindle Fire (that was plugged in with constant power flow for 14-days, my bad), which died just a few days after the Fire's warranty expired, becoming our first ever disappointment with ANY Amazon-sold product
    • requires outside power supply didn't realize it until i got it... works as expected and the switches are nice to have... could you a littl more space in between for the awkward usb connectors.
    • The switches are smooth, with a blue glow when on, unlit when off
    • Works well, having the switches is a nice feature.
    • I like the on/off switches for each of the 4 ports.
    • I liked the switches, and the power adapter gives it enough oomph to charge my phone quickly while using the other slots
    • Its switches are convenient, but apparently isn't 100%-compatible with a few devices (USB keyboard randomly wouldn't function after reboot, yet functions perfectly on another USB hub).
    • the on/off switches are very helpful
    • The switches to turn on and off each port were handy for trouble shooting
    • I primarily got this for charging/powering devices, and for that purpose I love the individual switches
    • This is a great little switch for a great price
    • the switches are far too easy to turn off
    • The individual switches for each output port might be a little gimmicky, but maybe it's useful to some folks
    • The on/off switch provides protection for your hard drive when you need to remove it as most drives these
    • I'm giving it 3 stars because I like the individual power switches and it works as a hub
    • But, it seems to be kind of low-end, - the switches don't impress me.
    • This one has been perfect and the individually lit LED switches are a nice touch
    • works good and I like the individual switches.
    • Only three switches worked on the unit I received
    • The on/off switches are handy if you want to keep a thumb drive installed for backups and have the ability to prevent accidental or malicious access to it.
    • I actually plan to use this with some LED lights that run off of 5V and the switch will be nice to have a central place to toggle them.
    • Acts funky when you hit a switch but works as a hub
    • I'm continually unplugging and replugging IoT items while testing/programming them and the switch is making it easier
    • prefer mechanical switches
    • Compact with useful switches
    • The switches are quite handy.
    • When I first attached the hub to my computer I thought it was not working, but I needed to depress the individual power switches
    • No drivers needed and the individual switches are nice to power on devices.
    • They work well and I love the switches to turn the individual ports on or of.
    • Furthermore, everything connected to it registers very quickly and doesn't seem to take any additional time to process at all going through it, the second you engage the button for whatever's connected to that slot (actually unlike any other USB hub/splitter I've had in the past). Also, turns out, the switches are actually very useful, especially if you don't necessarily need/want to necessarily plug whatever drives/components out after you plug them in but don't want them necessarily showing up/being registered all the time in your OS.
    • The switch glows blue when it's on.
    • Well made, love the switches
    • This switch confuses my older MAC Mini (2007).
    • To sum up, if you're looking for a hub to hookup smaller USB devices, I think is a good choice, as the switches come in handy.
    • , defective switch
    • I like that this HUB as individual switches
    • Bad switch design, should have used toggle switches instead
    • The on/off switches are very handy
    • The switches are a bit flimsy.
    • The switches are extremely sensitive, and before I realized that I accidentally touched and turned one off, disconnecting an external drive.
    • He appreciates the indicator lights and the switches so he can turn the ports on and off.
    • the on/off switches seem to be a bit annoying/unnecessary - I always end up pressing it accidentally when I try to plug in an USB device.
    • This didn't work as I
    • n’t be any problem
