I couldnt really recommend this unless noise is not an issue for you at all(you are keeping it in the garage hah)

After only a couple weeks of consistent usage, the fan in mine started making a loud grinding noise when I would turn the unit on

Whining noise

One blade of the fan broke off causing really bad noise and vibration

While it performs excellently and provides good stability and durability in a good enclosure, the noise is enough to discourage use

When I first plugged in the second one I bought, it was making a really loud noise

The obvious downside, and this one suffers from it, is the whining noise

Best of all I have had no i/o issues with the drive.
