Windows 10 identified it immediately and the sound is excellent this can be plugged in and out during games switching from regular speakers on the laptop to the headphones without games or apps having to go to the desktop

I broke my headphone jack and spent the past 4 or 5 days having to tweak and adjust my headphones for at least 15 minutes every night before they were in a position that actually worked, then had to avoid moving or touching the wire or pretty much any part of the headphones or I'd lose sound again

A cheapie Asus laptop we got off Amazon Warehouse wasn't putting out clean sound, so I figured for $6, I'd try this out.

This audio adapter does work, but I've found that one time I'll plug it into my computer and the sound will be unbearably loud, and the next time I put it in it'll be about a third the volume
