    Samson MB1 Mini Boom Stand

    • This mic stand has the perfect weight to balance out a 57 on an amp cab or a light weight kick mic like the D112 inside the kick
    • This is the perfect mic stand for miking an instrument amp/speaker on a semi-permanent setup
    • I have to angle the mic and boom significantly if I want to get a mic inside of the actual hole of a bass drum
    • Nice 3 leg stable weighted base and enough extension features for proper Mic placement.
    • None of the booms I've worked with (at this end of the price spectrum) come with a counterweight which can overcome full length extension with a decent mic at the end.
    • Using in for podcasting anyways just so when folks come over I can act like I paid $85 for a tour ready mic stand just for my desk
    • Good Kick Drum Mic Stand.
    • Those are premium stands and priced accordingly, but professionals did not want to mess with flimsy mic stands, so it was worth it.
    • This is an awesome desktop boom mic stand
    • It is able to hold the audio-techinica at2020 mic well
    • This is truly a sturdy mic stand and does the job
    • The base is heavy/sturdy, and mic stays in place perfect.
    • After searching for so long ive finally found a sturdy mic stand.
    • Combined this with the Shure SM57 mic and they work great as a team
    • You can securely hold a proper mic all the way inside the bass drum towards the head.
    • I wanted a bass mic stand that would not topple over with a heavier mic attached to its end.
    • A good solid mic stand.
    • If one is expecting a table top mic stand they can throw around the stage in anger to impress everybody (Oooo, he's scary) with their lack of personal self-control, get an all metal stand who's clamps are made of steel or get a different profession where, due to their lack of self-control, won't be able to break things.
    • Purchased this stand for my Blue Yeti USB Mic, very sturdy, heavy cast base, and small enough to dis-assemble and toss in a back back for mobile recording on the go
    • The pivot needes to be extremely tightened or else the mic and boom sags down
    • This Samson MB1 mini boom mic stand serves my needs very well.
    • The point, for a well constructed mic stand, this is a great price.
    • Great Mic stand!!!I currently use it for my bass drum mic
    • The second is in the little swivel point, where you can adjust it so that it moves loosely or becomes very stubborn to changeThe final point of adjustment is on the boom itself, where you can extend or detract the mic
    • I've gone to rubber banding the mic and boom to my bass drum lugs, which looks terrible and shouldn't need done
