Reviews around weight (5.00 of 5)

  • The base has some good weight to it, which is a must for heavier condenser mics
  • Has good weight so it won't fall over with heavier mics
  • Small enough to carry, but with enough base weight that they don't tip over
  • Nice 3 leg stable weighted base and enough extension features for proper Mic placement.
  • Good extension, well weighted, small enough to place a mic any place on a drum set

Reviews around build (5.00 of 5)

  • this is a great stand for anyone looking to mic up their guitar amp, seems well built and rugged, although the mic clip is just a cheap plastic component you should immediately replace!
  • This little fellow is well built out of mostly steel and is heavy for its size
  • It has all the adjustments a full size mic stand would have and seems to be well built.
  • This is sturdy, well built, doesn't feel cheaply made at all, and most importantly
  • This product is very sturdy and very well built to hold even heavy mic to hold in persistent position

Reviews around base (4.80 of 5)

  • The base is pretty heavy, basically on par with my kick drum mic stand that's a solid base
  • The base is solid and heavy to keep the stand from falling over
  • Solid base only topples over at full extension with a heavy mic like the Shure PG52.
  • The base is super solid, and you get a telescoping boom

Reviews around price (4.53 of 5)

  • The point, if anybody tells you this is a fragile piece of gear, it's because they're abusing the gear beyond what it was designed to do; at a reasonable price, hold a microphone in a static position and then be moved again
  • As a life long musician I am used to paying insane prices for anything that works event remotely as advertised
  • amazing product very sturdy the price is great price for the
  • Great price, very heavy base that is perfect for using shock mounted mics, double telescoping poles
  • The point, for a well constructed mic stand, this is a great price.

Reviews around mic (4.52 of 5)

  • The point, for a well constructed mic stand, this is a great price.
  • This Samson MB1 mini boom mic stand serves my needs very well.
  • This is the perfect mic stand for miking an instrument amp/speaker on a semi-permanent setup
  • I wanted a bass mic stand that would not topple over with a heavier mic attached to its end.
  • Those are premium stands and priced accordingly, but professionals did not want to mess with flimsy mic stands, so it was worth it.

Reviews around size (4.30 of 5)

  • solid heavy base, good size and right height for guitar or uke.
  • Nice size and height for holding mic for acoustic guitar.
  • Great size and weight, and the design really prevent mic falling into the floor
  • This is a reasonably solid and well built budget stand that is the perfect size for micing a guitar while seated and takes up little room.
  • Not the least expensive mini boom stand (paid $30) but it has a solid base and a good-size arm

Reviews around quality (4.26 of 5)

  • My other concern was quality, but this is a very sturdy stand and seems like it will last a long time
  • The quality seems good overall, and it comes with a clip too
  • Everything is great quality especially considering the moderately low price
  • This stand is exactly what it promises to be: a good quality mini boom stand.
  • I had bought this mic with the intentions of using a rockband microphone as a PC mic, as I found that that particular microphone had fairly good quality

Reviews around boom (3.92 of 5)

  • The boom compares well to my K&M, the base is stable but compact, and the clutch mechanism feels solid.
  • This left me with the threaded part still in the base and a useless aluminum rod and boom.
  • Use it more like a straight stand with just enough boom to get over your snare or floor tom or similar items
  • Not the least expensive mini boom stand (paid $30) but it has a solid base and a good-size arm
  • Rather than buy a smaller mic or an overpriced boom counterweight, I just picked up a pair of 3 lb ankle weights (6 lb total) here

Reviews around height (3.44 of 5)

  • so that's a good height for how compact this stand can get as well
  • It's quite the perfect height for when I'm seated on my stool
  • My first concern was the height
  • Nice size and height for holding mic for acoustic guitar.
  • Great for micing a snare drum or as happens often in our case it is the perfect height for someone in the 3 to 4 foot tall range to use for vocals.
