Samsung 32” WQHD LED Monitor (S32D850T)

    • One of the few monitors that can hook into a retina Macbook with the correct resolution (using displayport).
    • I'm really impressed with the naturalness and detail of the picture when using the highest resolution (not all graphics cards support it, though).

    • so I was not sure if my video card would even support the resolution of 2560 x 1440.After initial installation (I replaced my 24 inch monitor
    • This is the perfect computer monitor size and resolution, what it should have been from the beginning, and it should be the standard for computer monitors, 32-inch, 1440p.
    • Excellent dot pitch and resolution (32" 2560x1440) for use with Windows 8.1 and software engineering work.
    • Excellent color and resolution
    • excellent resolution.
    • A 32 inch UHD version (U32J590) at 137 ppi is a bit of an overkill for the ~2.5 foot viewing distance of a monitor but for only $50 more it may be a bragging rights option for many with graphics cards which support the resolution.
    • I didn't want 1080p on a larger screen and this resolution is amazing for the 43"
    • No dead pixels that I've found though and the resolution is great.
    • Tried a few monitors before selecting this one, and I'm extremely happy with the build quality of Samsung, the excellent resolution, beautiful color reproduction.
    • And the resolution and color are perfect too
    • Almost everything is automated in the monitor; therefore, all you have to do is plug it in and then view the wonderful resolution and huge screen.
    • The laptop supports the resolution of this monitor.
    • It's big enough and has enough resolution to allow me to see the bigger picture.
    • The 2560 x 1440 resolution is PERFECT for office and school use
    • "I was pleasantly surprised to see that my graphics cards already supported this resolution.

    • Resolution is perfect for me and I use it with external speakers
    • Good color, large, and a good desktop resolution.
    • The resolution is great, the screen is large and the colors are true.
    • In my case because I keep both cables on the right side of the laptop (see image), really easy to "dock in".- 2 Hard Drives (USB 3) connected to the monitor.- 1 Card Reader directly connected to the monitor.- 1 cheap usb hub connected to the monitor (to connect a dongle for a Microsoft Keyboard, why the hub? see below)Good:- Good image (tested with Lightroom with different types of images and compared against a mac retina display at same resolution)- Great color rendition.- The resolution although not the best out there, its sufficient.- For work (I code for a living but do a lot of photography) is more than sufficient and the right price.- USB ports work really well
    • That is AMAZING resolution.
    • For work, the 1440p resolution is fantastic because I can easily keep multiple windows open on the screen at the same time without sacrificing much screen real estate inside the individual windows
    • Satisfied with product....the resolution seemed to be not as high as I expected
    • Crisp display with a good resolution.
    • Recommended Resolution

    • I'm having one heck of a hard time finding a graphics card that can really put out this monitor's best resolution without failing.
    • It is so easy on the eyes; it's the perfect size and resolution for working with a lot of text (code).
    • Nice resolution and response
    • The resolution over HDMI and DVI isn't superb, but over DP, the resolution is fantastic
    • " QHD cause I couldn't stand the small text / finer resolution on the 28" screen
    • Your old one may not be able to support this resolution.
    • I don't think this is the monitor's fault; it is more like some HDMI outputs don't support the 2.5k resolution.
    • CONRecommended resolution- the best resolution for the monitor render icon on the desktop and document way too small to readPicture- any video under 600wh frame is in poor quality, especially AVI format.
    • Wonderful resolution
    • This is a perfect resolution for a work monitor, This has the same ppi as a 1080p 24 in monitor
    • This monitor offers the perfect resolution, in my opinion
    • The "worst" of the reviews claimed delta e of 2.0, which is indistinguishable to the eye (though the IPS they compared it to was 0.4).
    • the 850T are grainy at all
    • The S32850T has better text clarity in Windows, nearly comparable image resolving (which can be brought closer with upscaling), practically zero ghosting, and can run games at native resolution much more effectively
