and I have to say the picture and quality is fantastic.
These monitors are HUGE and have the great Samsung picture.
this time it has a nice set of physical scratches on the monitor and now the picture is also messed up with green lines like the matrix going up and down the screen
The picture is great and you can multitask like a two monitor setup.
The "worst" of the reviews claimed delta e of 2.0, which is indistinguishable to the eye (though the IPS they compared it to was 0.4).
Overall, the monitor is bright, good color, is huge, looks great, and I was using it within 10 minutes of opening the box
settings.)The 50/50/50 it arrives with is fairly perfect; You would have to be trying to mess up this color.
and that is what improves the saturated color; it was the 100% bright and "cool" color mode in Dynamic Contrast that I did not like, so I only used the gamma 3 in my custom settings, with 100% contrast, much lower bright and set colors at varying levels all around
Also I needed a monitor that has great color reproduction, and boy does this monitor delivers and more
Color is great and very neutral and the picture quality is brilliant.
Perfect size for desktop too, not sure I'd be as happy with a larger screen.

It is so easy on the eyes; it's the perfect size and resolution for working with a lot of text (code).
the size seemed rather overwhelming, but very quickly I got used to this new size and 2 months later I can't imagine I would go back to smaller resolution
I was a little hesitant about sitting in front of a 32" screen but the size is perfect.
All that said, this is the nicest, highest quality monitor I've ever had or even seen
The new display had appropriate screen protection in the box, with *fewer* scratches on the base and housing, however I was surprised to see that this unit still suffered from the poor quality control of the previous one
CONRecommended resolution- the best resolution for the monitor render icon on the desktop and document way too small to readPicture- any video under 600wh frame is in poor quality, especially AVI format.
After using retina screens the Samsung quality is blurry to my eyes but for most people this will be a fantastic upgrade
If you spend hours a day staring at a screen like I do, you owe it to yourself to get a high quality monitor like this one.
Both monitors render images clear and crisp and either would be great for photo or other graphical work."Despite the high 4K resolution, the display is incredibly grainy
The colors are vibrant and the display is bright (almost too much so in the beginning)
Sadly, I've decided to return this monitor and replace it with another, as while it's a good display, it wasn't what I was hoping for
If you are thinking about buying this for a PC with a lesser quality video card, you may be more pleased buying a smaller cheaper display (the 27
Beautiful display, can turn vertically or horizontally.
I downgraded one star because the unit I received appeared to have been opened and returned to Amazon, and was missing the power cable
I love this monitor but I subtracted two stars for the hum it generates and the fact it only works super well plugged into the Display Port.
I wasn't using the supplied HDMI cable since my video card only had a mini-HDMI port). So use the supplied cables! The only reason I knocked off one star from my rating was due to the number of steps and effort needed to change monitor options via the front panel buttons
The stand is absolutely gorgeous, and is as much of a pleasure to manipulate as it is to stare at on top of your desk
I've attached photos to show my issue as well as reduced my stars to 3.
2K it may look good also on 30" but all the non-standard 30", 29", 31", 28" on the market are usually 4K even worse for such a monitor size, only if you'll watch movies and not working
is my ATI 290 8GB struggles a bit playing games in 4K. Like the The Witcher 3 in 4K again no lag with the monitor it was the video card that couldn't handle it
Bad "eco" mode, though - nasty flicker in some ambient light conditions
I would imagine 32" 4K to be not much more better
The "worst" of the reviews claimed delta e of 2.0, which is indistinguishable to the eye (though the IPS they compared it to was 0.4).
The problem is that when using display port connections which is the only way you can get 2K res, the monitor will randomly lose video (or sync).
My existing DVI cable did not work well, but the cable supplied by Samsung worked great.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Update: I am lowering this review to 4 stars because I am having problems with the integrated USB Hub being unstable
I wouldn't recommend this monitor unless Samsung corrects the problem with the sleep mode issue.
Monitor returned but still does not work (same problem).
no dead pixels, no problems whatsoever and the color is clean and crisp - we watch all our movies on this now... connected it to my Mac Mini (1920 X 1200) with the Display Port - and to my surveillance cameras (2560 X 1440) with the HDMI 1.4 port (Apple Display only had Display Port)

Of course at 1440p the display scaling issues are not anywhere near as dramatic as 4k or 8k, but they still do exists and it is sometimes still an issue
I hope these reviewers are not confusing text scaling issues with grain, though that
I'm currently running Windows Technical Preview (Windows 10).Text and icons overall look much more correct and crisp on the S32, whereas on the U32 they suffer from 4K scaling issues, or at least I guess that's what it is
I’ve also found that without the use of 25% display scaling, that this monitor isn’t big enough to comfortably use at reasonable sitting distances without having to really strain your eyes because some of the text and icons at native resolution are just too small
A major issue for me was that my eyes felt more strained with this monitor than my old Dell
This monitor still hurts my eyes as compared to an old 23" Dell Ultrasharp

As I have gotten a bit older and my eyes are not as good as they were, having this size monitor has been very helpful.
I really liked the extra crispness of the text due to the higher PPI on the 27".3. ... that the menu system and the buttons suck
The set up menus are as confusing as all other monitors but looks great out of the box
When I switch back to the Display Port, all these settings are still remembered, which means I have to manually go into the bad menu system and individually change all the
On top of this, it's made worse by the bad menu system.4. ... that it has many connectivity options (DVI, HDMI, Display Port), all running at 2560x1440, as well as 4 USB 3.0 ports
I do find the menu manipulation a bit confusing, but then there is a great deal in our modern technological world that is confusing to those of us of a certain age...
