2K it may look good also on 30" but all the non-standard 30", 29", 31", 28" on the market are usually 4K even worse for such a monitor size, only if you'll watch movies and not working

As far as I can tell the display is flawless (no dead pixels, no variance in brightness, etc.).

For work with text documents, it has as many pixels as I could possibly see, and all are crisp with good contrast and more brightness than I'll need

The problem is that when using display port connections which is the only way you can get 2K res, the monitor will randomly lose video (or sync).
