Samsung 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Fit (MUF-64BB/AM)

    • the write speed is about the same range as a 7200RPM hard disk
    • The weird is thing my external hard disk still works fine on that laptop
    • Unable to write to disk after 2 months, unable to format, unable to clean, unable to repair.- Went through extensive troubleshooting to try and clean/recover/reformat the disk, to include command prompt.
    • The perfect extension of your hard disk.
    • Me, I'm using them as boot hard disks for Raspberry PI 3b computers.
    • I went to transfer 6GB of files from my SSD laptop hard disk to this USB 3.0 flash drive (using 3.0 port) and the speed topped out at around 5mb/s
    • When I insert it into the USB port, the OS recognizes that something's been put in, but it won't open; the error I get on clicking the icon is "Please insert a disk into <disk letter>"
    • Quite convinient to use as a second hard disk for the laptop or otg for mobile.
    • I've just had this happen again, but now my system (MacBook Pro) is complaining it can't read the device - "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer."Attempting to reformat/reinitialise it doesn't work either
    • I larger drive sticking out would be easier for someone to notice and maybe take, It would also be more susceptible to getting wacked and broken as I am often moving things from the passenger side (like my notebook case, briefcase, etc.) across the center console (where the USB plug is located) when I'm out visiting clients
    • I was using a SanDisk version for years before this, but this one I way easier to remove from computers.
    • Fast and tiny I use this for my car deck and you really can notice it's even in
    • Test option: device manager policy - optimized for performanceThis drive is good as advertised, pretty good seq reading speed (~140MB/s)
    • The write is disappointing at around 20MB/s
    • With this drive I always get wonderful read speeds (about 130 MB/s) and very reasonable write speeds (30 - 60 MB/s)
    • The skinny: with large files it copies as fast as 30 MB/s, which is horrible for USB 3 device
    • On small files the write speed was horrendous, going as slow as 4 MB/s
