I like the low profile and needed something to backup files with on my laptop.
Fits all my music on it and the small profile is perfect for plugging in to my TV.
I larger drive sticking out would be easier for someone to notice and maybe take, It would also be more susceptible to getting wacked and broken as I am often moving things from the passenger side (like my notebook case, briefcase, etc.) across the center console (where the USB plug is located) when I'm out visiting clients
works great low profile leave it in all the time so readily accessible
Us it on our Midas mixer to record church services, the low profile is perfect.
Great price for the amount of storage afforded, take note Apple

Great addition to a small lap-top that has limited memory and at a very good price.
A quality product, design, and materials for a good price
This is a low profile that allows to keep it attached to the laptop and for me to have my files and more on it without the need to upgrade the HD, usige bulky flash drives or any external HD
In summary, it's a very nice and extremely fast flash drive
On small files the write speed was horrendous, going as slow as 4 MB/s
Transfers are not as quick as my other Flash drives but not enough to complain about.
Great flash drive for expanding storage capacity of a laptop
Slow transfer that takes more than a minute to transfer just a 2GB movie from mac to this USB drive
Don't expect some crazy transfer rate as the numbers advertised by every single manufacturer are typically synthetic benchmarks only obtainable via specific lab conditions
Counterfeit flash drives seem to be a problem as they often look very similar to the real thing, but they are inferior quality and have slow transfer speeds and may have a lot less than the advertised storage
Insanely fast transfer speeds (Read ~120MBps), between 30 and 50MBps write speeds, and is so small it does not take up much space at all
Gets pretty hot when transferring large amount of data, when in resting/ storage mode - no problems
Works as designed; tougher than the Sandisk one I'd been using where it separated (the actual contact portion stayed embedded in a usb slot and the 'head' came off
The skinny: with large files it copies as fast as 30 MB/s, which is horrible for USB 3 device
Although Samsung responded to this review, I declined to call tech support for a poor design, as I know how to use it already and no support except for a return would be appropriate.
Small form factor, sleek design, USB 3.0, decent price for a great flashdrive

.. recommended by pcworld's website) which indicated that the speed on this sucker is indeed much faster than your standard usb 2.0 thumb drive, over 100 MB / second for read and write speeds.. more than fast enough for my purposes :)
, so read speeds are good enough for my purposes and no heat issues.
With this drive I always get wonderful read speeds (about 130 MB/s) and very reasonable write speeds (30 - 60 MB/s)

Pretty slow write speeds, but good for people looking to store documents etc.
When I compare the file contents, i find that several MP3's have become corrupted after about a year of use, and the drive reports no read errors when accessing those files.
will not work in late model cars it effects navy systems in my new ford ,error says draws to much volts,
I had to reformat the drive, however, it still appears to be acting weird and occasional error while copying a big file
I tried using Disk Management, several 3rd party formatters, command prompt (DiskPart clean failed, and chkdsk produced unspecified errors (696e647863686b2e 4d3) and (6e74667363686b2e 1652) during Stage 2).I spent several hours trying to format/repair the drive, but nothing worked
Disk scans returned no errors, but when plugged in it immediately popped up that there were errors on the disk and recommended scan/repair (which returns no issues).

Fast and tiny I use this for my car deck and you really can notice it's even in
I was using a SanDisk version for years before this, but this one I way easier to remove from computers.
I am confused as to how a company so large can produce and sell a product without even testing it or engineering it properly
The best and most perfect storage expansion solution made for Wii U available on the market is here
No heat issues (unlike similar small flash drives I've used in the past)- BlackMagic Speed Test consistently indicates >100MB/s transfer speeds- no random unmounts when laptop sleeps (chronic issue with sd card slot in my
I went to transfer 6GB of files from my SSD laptop hard disk to this USB 3.0 flash drive (using 3.0 port) and the speed topped out at around 5mb/s
This week my laptop, which I use several hours each day for work, started freezing every 10-15 minutes
A Dell laptop or desktop should not have this problem as long as the drive and the wireless mouse dongle are separated.
Works perfect for running live kali Linux on, no lag at all compared to 2.0 USB, I love the small design and not worrying about knocking it out of my laptop corrupting files or shutting down Live OS
