When I compare the file contents, i find that several MP3's have become corrupted after about a year of use, and the drive reports no read errors when accessing those files.

I had to reformat the drive, however, it still appears to be acting weird and occasional error while copying a big file

I tried using Disk Management, several 3rd party formatters, command prompt (DiskPart clean failed, and chkdsk produced unspecified errors (696e647863686b2e 4d3) and (6e74667363686b2e 1652) during Stage 2).I spent several hours trying to format/repair the drive, but nothing worked

No heat issues and no errors so far

Disk scans returned no errors, but when plugged in it immediately popped up that there were errors on the disk and recommended scan/repair (which returns no issues).
