I have ever got my hands on! excellent performance, and very good programs included, the SSD itself is high quality, the front is made of brushed metal but the back is completely plastic, at least a reasonable quality of plastic, but unfortunately the SATA cable, bracket and screws aren't included.

Then pro for sureCrucial is excellent too and tends to be about $50 cheaper -- performance as listed it excellent, little slower but in real world operation, hard to tell apart

I would recommend this to anyone who has an older mac, that wants a little better performance but not a whole new computer.

I bought a 250GB 850 EVO in late 2015 and it's still running perfectly fast and smooth as if I had just installed it

It seems to work great, but the software it comes with to clone the existing C:\ drive and migrate your data is garbage.

This is my third Samsung SSD, my main office PC is four years old and running an 840 EVO (128 GB) in the C drive, it boots very fast and never has it given any problems, my second office PC runs an 850 EVO (250GB) in the C drive, zero issues
