So, the speeds I'm seeing are limited by the SATA II standard, which limits the transfer rate/bandwidth to 3.0 Gbps (378 MB/s)

if you know what you're doing, just plug the SATA cables and viola!One thing to remember is that if you're upgrading an existing system, you should check online how to install AHCI drivers for your operating system and then change it in the BIOS from IDE to AHCI, in order to enjoy the much faster read/write speeds,If this is for a new system just make sure that before installing your operating system you set it correctly in the BIOS.

However the hard drive that it came with was good just needed the faster speed for day trading purposes spec wise
