However I knocked off a star due to the fact that I actually had to return the first drive they sent me

Only knocking a star because the lack of hardware and awful instructions makes it a pretty difficult product to use for a first timer

Now if Samsung doesn't honor the 5 year warranty then a couple stars may come

The three missing stars are not for the drive, but for the registration process, or lack thereof

Very easy to install, very easy to copy data (including O/S) from the old HDD, been using it for a few months with no problems whatsoever.

Put it in my old laptop and now it as fast as if I went and dropped $1000 on a new laptop
