I used the Magician software from Samsung too to optimize performance and activated Rapid Mode and it's flying

However, when I kick Rapid Mode on, this is what I get

I don't know much about the Rapid Mode, but if your computer can use it, it seems to be a huge speed boost to the SSD that can use it

The Sunsung magician software shows that the drive runs much faster when you enable Rapid Mode

Pros-Helps immensely in games that texture streaming is done live on HDD and you need fast speeds to get the high resolution textures up much quicker and almost instant.-Very solid when using Rapid mode and almost looks like its on par with NVMe drive

My advice is to make sure you are in safe mode when copying your hard drive to ensure there are no files locked.

Then I enabled what they call "Rapid Mode" in their software which uses your CPU and Ram to help accelerate things even further

Could not even boot to safe mode.

It also won't enable the rapid mode features

These tests are not utilizing Samsung's Rapid Mode because Rapid Mode utilized DRAM and CPU to accomplish higher speeds through cashing and that is not the actual performance of the device

I tried the various startup repair options, safe mode, etc., all to no avail

Rapid mode in Samsung Magician is a nice proprietary feature.

Surprised to find that Win 10 boot up and photo editing file access is really no faster, even with 'rapid' mode turned ON.

Not using rapid mode yet
