I would definitely recommend this product as Samsung has an excellent reputation in solid state memory and the upgrade is well worth it if you have an M.2 NVMe socket available

Extremely fast compared to traditional mechanical drives, also faster than regular sata SSDs, if you have an M.2 NVMe slot available I highly recommend getting one of these as it will positively impact the performance of your PC.

Look if your building a new PC just get the biggest m.2 drive you can afford, and use USB 3.1c external SSD for data storage

If you don’t have an available M.2 slot, then you should get a “hard disk shaped” SSD like the 860 EVO
