Price is still too high but the product is really good.
I would definitely recommend this product as Samsung has an excellent reputation in solid state memory and the upgrade is well worth it if you have an M.2 NVMe socket available
The average consumer won’t notice the increased speeds over the 960 but for being a better product at a lower price than a 1tb

I'm upgrading from a SK Hynix PC 401 drive, which didn't have bad performance, but I like my data better on a trusted brand, and I get a decent performance bump, though in everyday usage won't be noticeable to most people
so I wasn't specting that is so slim and small and the performance is incredible

It is an amazing nvme drive and it was cheaper than the 960
So I upgraded my Dell to 500gb (couldn't afford 1TB NVMe) without a hitch using a USB recovery drive (create a recovery USB drive from dell.com before installing since it will customize Windows 10 with the drivers to fit your laptop model)
NVMe drives like this are the way mainstream storage is headed
Extremely fast compared to traditional mechanical drives, also faster than regular sata SSDs, if you have an M.2 NVMe slot available I highly recommend getting one of these as it will positively impact the performance of your PC.
Great drive if you have the money then get this but do not expect massive performance over a SATA m.2 ssd also make sure you're system supports NVMe drives, before you buy it.
