I had major problems getting it to work well on the C port, which I solved by changing to the most recent chipset driver INF file available at my motherboard manufacturer's web site

The read/write speeds can be inconsistent, one app will say it is SATA slow on the writes, others will show good speed

Great NVME for this price, no issues what so ever

I'm sure it's a good drive, but the external USB enclosures (at least the ones I tried) haven't caught up with it.

but now when I try to upgrade my Mac OSX it says the drive has S.M.A.R.T errors and needs to be replaced

Other than this, the hard drive is fine

Sure enough it was the stock Toshiba SARA hard drive

This drive outperforms my samsung 960 evo and cost me around a third the price per gigabyte

I tried Aomei Partition to fix the bad sectors and that didn't even work

I ran Chkdsk/fixboot on the M2 drive and it showed a insane amount of bad sectors, along with very long error codes
