Very high quality - Beautiful packaging - My laptop boots in seconds!
You lose a bit a for write speeds, but worth the trade of for most people
I recommend these ssd's frequently for all sorts of application's, due to the versatility of 2.5 drive and the overall consistent quality of this series
The SSD arrived well-packaged and is outwardly of good quality

This worked great for just at 6 months, then it went from blazing fast SSD to something rivaling 5 1/4" floppy disk transfer speeds, then dead
The laptop will never be a speed demon but this SSD removed the bottlenecks that were being seen with the old and degrading HDD and should allow for the laptop to continue being used by the kids and their educational work for a little while longer.
The ADATA has an excellent READ speed performance and fairly good WRITE speed performance.
Good speed and a great performance boost to an older computer.
Unfortunately it works in SATA 2 mode on this particular laptop which correspondingly gives slower speed compared to SATA 3 (which is not supported by my laptop), but overall boot time from SSD is MUCH faster than from HDD, aproximately 20 s (tested on Windows 10 & 7).I am very pleased with my choice so far

Bios freaked out at first, system rebooted several times but has been perfect ever since.
Now the computer boots four times faster than before and the battery boost twice the time that it has
Really fast boot time and is small and cheap enough to be an ideal dedicated drive for your OS
Other than wasting my time, I don't see what this is going to accomplish
Unfortunately the time between failures was becoming shorter and shorter until last week it failed completely and the drive is no longer recognized by the BIOS

Once the cache is full there is an internal battle going on as the system still trys to write along side of the cache, at this point you may see performance drop to 0-64mbs with short speed spikes as the cache clears and buffers
I cloned the existing hard disk onto this one and everything worked as it previously had, except a lot quicker.
Works as it should brought up the boot drive from 1 minute to 10 seconds.
Using some internal and third party benchmarks, it performs as well as and even better than the Apple branded SSD's I have

Very fast performance, went from a 1tb 5200rpm hard drive to this and do not regret it.
-480GM-C):I'm using the 480GB drive in a new Asus ROG Strix GL702VM-DB71 gaming laptop that came with a standard 1TB hard drive
I am using it along side a 4TB hard drive on my gaming rig and I am very happy with the performance
I installed this in a Dell 5555 that had a 1tb 5400rph hard drive
If those two bottlenecks can be reduced or eliminated then even the most inexpensive laptop would surprise you how fast it would be--in fact, most people buy laptops (or pc's in general) based on arbitrary CPU model/speed/and latest greatest- and pay no attention to the inexpensive 1TB hard drive that comes in most laptops these days.

It took me hours to gain access to the cloning software
Dead...all dead...wasted 4 hours on this thing and it is dead.
You will waste hours.

And my Adata didn't fail totally, it had a sector or two fail, which happened to be holding system files, but
passed all initial testing, no bad sectors or anything, practical speed is exactly what I expected based on advertising
(I had marked the sectors bad, so after I did that and reformatted, it didn't reproduce, so I think they just gave me my old drive back (had a distinct scuff mark that was there when I sent it in which was still there), which I didn't really appreciate
From the moment I installed it in my laptop as a secondary drive for data storage, it has had nothing but issues: spontaneous disconnects, loss of data, bad sectors.
