The 1440p resolution on this monitor is very crisp

It is 1440p - getting a 1080p on a 27" monitor is a nono because you will fond with larger displays you might find it is not as sharp and stretched resolution, but with 1440p the display is crisp and sharp2

However, the resolution (and 60hz refresh rate, for that matter) is just fine for console gaming (Xbox, PS4) because, as I understand it, they can't utilize additional power like a high-powered gaming PC might.

The 60Hz refresh rate and rather low resolution for it

but it needs to come with at least 100Hz refresh rate and a better resolution.
