This gives excellent sound quality, but the output from the TV is very low and sometimes full volume is required.from the sound bar

TV speakers are a little weak and tinny sounding, as is the case with all TV's in this price range.

This 'THING' also has a ""STUPID "GAME SOUND"" every time you use the remote control for 'ANYTHING' - makes this "STUPID sound" cant Turn it OFF

The picture is fantastic and the sound is decent without any external speakers and I like the apps (though I was disappointed as MANY of the apps shown on Samsung's website were not available for this Smart TV though there is a range of apps available despite this--including Hulu, Amazon and Netflix as well as the major pay movie and music venues, not many of the others that you might otherwise expect) .

The sound is terrible of course, and when hooked up to a sound system, there is a sound delay, even with maximum adjustment, so that one has to get used to the sound being out of sync

The sound is perhaps adequate in a small room, but I was much happier when I plugged in a $250 Yamaha soundbar

Sound is fine for a TV this size, it doesn't have the most powerful bass, but the sound is clear and there is plenty of volume available
