Beautiful TV, great sound and picture!

If sound quality is a big deal, not that this tv has terrible sound, then get a sound bar.

Now on to the negatives: HDR is basically useless (but when you turn off certain settings it really isn't something you notice).The sound is just, not good at all

To our surprise the speakers in the Samsung TV have very nice quality sound, much better than the quality of speakers on any of our previous Sony TV's that we had in the past.

The first thing I did is plug in my Nakamichi Shockwafe 9.2.4, disabled the sound on the TV, plugged into the Nakamichi a Fire TV and a Google Chromecast Ultra and now it's just a big nice looking monitor for the services that matter...

Picture is super clear and sharp..like seeing the images in person looking through a window..using firestick 4k to stream and all is perfect...running sound through Yamaha soundbar using optical and all sounds fine..well worth the $800 price for the series 8.

Yes, the picture is a little better on the more expensive models, and the sound is a little better on those as well (but you're using a processor and your home theater speakers, right?), but you could have three of these scattered around your home instead of one of the more expensive models

I had the tv for a while now just wish they had more 4k content out to watch and for the price thought it was a ok deal with in my price range still can see a great picture and sound could be louder on

Volume ranges up and down depending on whats playing or what your using, but it does sound good

Yeah the sound isn't great, but I haven't seen any flat screen have great sound

I used to plug in a 2.1 speaker system to my old tv, but this one has great sound system in built (great for a tv) and supports surround sound

The sound however is very lacking

As far as the sound is concerned, again, we are not extraordinarily picky and we were going to live with the mediocre sound until my Dad purchased a BOSE sound bar for us.
