n’t go wrong with this TV if you’re looking for an upgrade (my previous TV was a Sceptre U55 2017 model, non-smart TV with fair 4K UHD quality for its incredible price).***Will update this review if technical problems occur within the next 3 years
Setup was breeze and I made just a few tweaks to the default settings (picture mode
Works well with chromecast, setup was easy and was done using my Samsung phone
Delivery was very fast, the TV is light weight, easy setup, remote was easy to figure out.
Great remote setup with easy access to Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, Amazon, Cable and Disney
This Samsung 55" 4K UHD 8 Series unit is wonderful!Pros: Beautiful and clear picture, fast refresh rate for action on screen, plenty of HDMI inputs, easy set up, and a voice-capable remote, competitive cost
The picture is great once you tinker with the settings a bit (there are plenty of vids for this)Easy set upI really like the sound, despite alot of people saying its not good
The set up was easy and I was watching it shortly after getting it out of the box

Picture quality is on par with much more expensive sets
this time it will NOT be a Samsung product, it is apparent that you are not willing to back up the quality issues of your defective products

product is not very sturdy, it us too heavy for its unsupported frame
This product would be great at its price point if worked properly.

Picture is super clear and sharp..like seeing the images in person looking through a window..using firestick 4k to stream and all is perfect...running sound through Yamaha soundbar using optical and all sounds fine..well worth the $800 price for the series 8.
Easy set-up on the Smart Features, great picture, decent sound
I had the tv for a while now just wish they had more 4k content out to watch and for the price thought it was a ok deal with in my price range still can see a great picture and sound could be louder on
If sound quality is a big deal, not that this tv has terrible sound, then get a sound bar.
We know that it’s not the best on the market but for what we need the TV has great picture and wonderful sound.
** lost 2 stars because now the stupid tv has decided to continually turn itself back on either randomly

i wanna give it 1 star for the low quality, however, i am a nice person, so 2 stars.
I do recommend 2 people as it is large and awkward to handle

it comes with and has NO number buttons on it, which is an immediate red flag when it comes to judging remote quality
This remote is sleek but with very little physical features, the buttons just blend together.
The buttons for Netflix, Prime Video and Hulu are much too sensitive.
However, the replaced tv is working fine so far and does not have any dead/stuck pixels
This is my 3rd Samsung TV and Compliments a 65 inch we have already (5yr old 8000 series)That being said Samsung upped their game finally to catch up with Song on easy of use and apps...FINALLYIt was super easy to set up and finally they are using Android based apps for Netflix, Hulu, Prime< and the likeThe picture was perfect not a pixel out on the whole unit...which was much lighter than expected...and hung in 20 mins
I don't notice the dead pixel in the slightest and am happy with everything else
Got a line of dead pixels and is now flashing under the dead pixels, after 1 year and 3 months, shortly past the warranty period

It wasn't noticeable in brighter scenes, but anything letterboxed or dark had what looked like flashlight beams in the corners and across the top, and a full grey screen was so far from uniform it looked like a cloudy sky, and there was some discoloration in the bottom right corner as a result
In other words, when the screen is on and the the movie has a letterbox, or a scene is dark, the corners you can see light gray blotches, like it is not black
And that is that the Backlight Autodims whenever there is a dark scene and very little else in it that reflects light.
The worst part was that the screen would auto dim/lighten slightly during times when the picture would cut from a really light scene to a really dark scene and vice versa
(raising this will turn your deep blacks into more gray making it HARDER for you to see dark scenes
