It works great as a DVR; I record movies and TV programs to watch while travelling and for those cutting the cable cord, the "MIRROR IMAGING" works extremely well, for watching recorded movies on the bigger screen, but the "BLUETOOTH" connections are iffy at times

A Samsung Galaxy S7 reads the Sony A77 formatted 128Gb SDHC card fine, and photo transfer works great with OTG (the old A77 does not have WIFI), and Samsung Flow then allows subsequent transfer from the Galaxy S7 phone to the Tab A.The SCHC card is a PNY Elite Performance (95Mb/s) card that is readable on a MacBook Pro and PC with no problems whatsoever (ExFAT).

So far everything is working very well.

Love the tablet - works great for my games, emails and internet searches.

But if your kids need advanced stuff and you are willing to do the work to secure them these are great.

This was the most cost effective tablet that works with these types of toys
