Samsung Gear 360 Real 360° High Resolution VR Camera (US Version with Warranty)

    • It has a really clear image
    • Decent quality images and video2
    • This model has a better image quality, handles heat better, and the software sort of works
    • Well within days I found myself fascinated with it and began to create some really nice images
    • If you want sharp images and video, then this unit is NOT for you.
    • The original camera produces spherical panoramas with about 73% more pixels than the 2017 camera, although still images from both cameras are fun to experiment with
    • Otherwise you get almost useless two lens images that require computer software to stitch
    • You will get far better images, with less blocking in the shadows, if you can capture your images and video in bright light.
    • The images and video *are* the best
    • Hopefully as time goes there will be Samsung specific options to correct the images and provide additional editing
    • I have not figured out the best way to share my pictures yet as when I try and send them to people the images look like an extreme fish eye (which it is I guess)
    • The only thing i dont like about it is that to get a clearer image you have to set it at 4k.otherwise it is very easy to use.i puchase a samsung 128gb card high
    • I took it over to Europe and it took perfect panoramic images in the large plazas
    • If you bump up the ISO limit to anything above ISO 800, the image becomes soft, noisy, and looks terrible in the Samsung VR system
    • The 360 images are quite amazing, but a keen eye can consistently pick up where the two lenses overlapped.
    • Will the Samsung iteration of VR catch on, or will we be left with the equivalent of a stack of laser discs, desperately trying to keep our ten-generations-out-of-date S7 Edge alive in order to continue to enjoy the images we took yesterday
    • These images post very easy to Facebook with automatic 360 viewing.
    • If you bump up the ISO limit to anything above ISO 800, the image becomes soft, noisy, and looks terrible in the Samsung VR system
    • It produces clear images that have very limited artifacts at where the two images are stitched.
    • Also the images are not clear.
    • This is the process where the two fish-eye images that the camera has recorded are converted into one cohesive image for viewing.
    • On that note, you can fix the image correction with PC software such as Photoshop, however, Google Street View uses the Extensible Metadata Platform (XMP) data and when you correct an image visually and not the XMP data you can end up with a really crooked image
    • Outside, on a bright Santa Barbara afternoon, the images were great.
    • and now it runs around an hour and a half without stopping, fogging, or causing a poor image
    • Good, balanced video with just the right sharpness, good dynamic range and decent image quality and balance
    • Still images at high res are grainy and dont show well in vr
    • Resolution is high enough but the images look blurry.
    • SG360 and M15 are the only TRUE 360 cameras, but only the SG360 can record longer movies and has much better image quality
    • When it's bright and sunny, the images are really good, but unless you're living in a climate where that is the norm, you're going to find yourself disappointed by pictures taken in less than perfect lighting conditions
    • The 360 images are cool but they are VERY fuzzy, not crisp, when used in single lens mode images are crisp but who needs that, you already have a phone to take single images
    • and I may very well do this as a general rule of thumb
    • Photos aren't as clean as I
    • ‘missed out’ as much as they would have usually by not attending the first class.
