Samsung Gear 360 Real 360° High Resolution VR Camera (US Version with Warranty)
Style:Base
From the little moments in your day to the horizons you pursue, capture life as it happens with Gear 360. The front and rear lenses each capture 180 degrees horizontally and vertically, creating a seamless and complete 360-degree field o...
You will get far better images, with less blocking in the shadows, if you can capture your images and video in bright light.
The camera quality is decent in good light, no so great in low light
Edit (same day): I just took and added a photo from my workplace, where one lens was facing the outside (snowy day, not especially bright) and the other was facing the well lit (but warmer light) interior
The negatives are the noticeably lower video resolution, very bright lights (a pain in darker conditions, like, say, Walt Disney World inside rides) and fixed 8GB memory
Attached pictures are examples how blurry it looks with words, how bright light has to be lined up and the last one is the split in the "Front" facing camera during a shaky seen as during playback
Quality is good just dont like that it doesn't have the live streaming for facebook and YouTube
It looks really nice and it feels as a product of good quality
I'm extremely disappointed with this camera, just because of the poor quality of the external software.
I watched "360" cameras hit the market, but saw that the quality was very poor and limited to short video clips
i bought fly360 and kodak360 returned both because the quality was bad and not user friendly plus pan down in the 360 video and IT shows a black horizon
This is the PC based editing software, necessary for those who are not pairing the camera to a compatible Samsung phone.
Use and pairing between your Gear 360 camera and your Galaxy or Note smart phone is pretty seamless and easy.
I'd suggest waiting for version 2.Pros:- does as advertised, 360 motion capture at 4k- compact case and tripod- standard camera mountCons:- seams are pretty blurry- awkward transfer mechanics- phone gets super hot during transfer- restricted to galaxyThe camera takes pretty good quality 360 degree shots
Cons: you can't use any phone, you will have to use a Samsung Galaxy s7 in order to take remote shoots with the camera and to operate it
It doesn't work with any phones other then a samsung phone
The best way to make use of this camera is with a monopod
Also the way it handled the light was terrible with big washed out spots near windows/doors
‘missed out’ as much as they would have usually by not attending the first class.
The action director 90-degree rotation collapses the video in an unusable way.• Add a 360-degree option to set the default video or image origin• Adding a way to limit the video collection, say to the top 200 degrees of both sensors could save space, battery, and time.
Or the software / stitching, its good....but ONLY if you record the right way and LEARN to use the software on how it's intended to be used
