I think it works great, good video and pictures

The videos aren't *quite* as good, but the seams are a *lot* less evident, the camera is very easy to carry (see photo of it in the change pocket of my jeans), it works with basically every phone out there (iOS or Android, at least), and the handle/carrying case is brilliant

First off, let me say I have owned various Samsung products over many years - and while I am generally pleased with the quality of things they make, I have always been disappointed with the LACK OF SUPPORT (mostly in the form of apps and downloads and compatibility with other non-Samsung products I own) - the Gear 360 takes nice HD video for sure - I took it on a trip to the Boundry Waters Canoe Area this past (2017) summer and it performed without any glitches (and it rained off and on the whole time we were up there!

So it's cool, but the pictures have an obvious stitch mark between both 180 spheres, American with videos, so there is always a blurry line splitting the pics and videos in half.

....glad that i finally decided to get this as i have a high school reunion coming up and it should make for some very cool videos

You may use the app for Ricoh 360 cams called Tetha + which is really good and editing pictures and videos, the only downside is that the videos will not stitch properly if you manually copy them from the SD card to the phone and edit them in Tetha + you will get this black bands around the pictures, the Samsung gear

The little tripod it comes with is enough for static 360 shots... and that's fine, because unless you want to do a smooth, linear path with this camera, I would think that your audience would get a bit seasick from watching shaky video

your better of buying a bunch of go pro knock offs and having a bunch of different angles for editing which will make a better video then 1 single 360 camera could ever do for half the price

To sum it up the Samsung Gear 360 camera is a fun, creative, and easy to use device that allows me to take great pictures and videos to share 360 memories with my friends and family.

The biggest drawback is stitching 360 videos for uploading to YouTube or Facebook.
