Samsung Gear 360 Real 360° High Resolution VR Camera (US Version with Warranty)

    • It is still a good product for the price, but thought it would render a sharper finished video.
    • It's awesome, crystal clear video and decent pics
    • Great product that shoots great video and is compatible with VR gear.
    • A video I took at the default resolution in bright daylight is so bad that it's not even SD quality
    • The video sensors are also run at different auto exposure controls, which is great, say for the tunnel portion of the golden gate video, but some software work to improve the edges between these setting could improve the result
    • So much fun and takes awesome video and pictures
    • This camera takes really nice photos and videos and the Gear 360 software on the phone does a really nice job stitching the photos and videos
    • If you want to use any other desktop video editing software that supports 360 videos then you MUST save the videos to your phone to stitch them
    • The videos are awesome, however, it doesn't work that
    • Well, supposedly you can transfer the video to a computer and stitch on their using the free software Samsung provides
    • Good for the price I paid (89) but obviously the flaws are that it stitches pretty badly and isnt the best quailty video
    • The videos would look fine as previews on my phone, but as soon as I tried to look at them on my computer, 2 frames a second per video at the most
    • The action director 90-degree rotation collapses the video in an unusable way.• Add a 360-degree option to set the default video or image origin• Adding a way to limit the video collection, say to the top 200 degrees of both sensors could save space, battery, and time.
    • Also, the videos are split into multiple smaller files and can take a really long time to transfer to the phone
    • For some reason no matter how big your memory card, it breaks up your video in increments
    • Good, balanced video with just the right sharpness, good dynamic range and decent image quality and balance
    • 4K 30fps 360 video looks great vs Fly360 and Kodak360
    • If you go with anything slower, the camera will bottleneck with video data and shut down after about 1 minute (and give you a nice, corrupted video
    • This is a pretty nifty video "toy" for the price
    • The few who remain want the very best video resolution they can get on a camera that won't break the bank
    • it is cheap enough now for a 360 camcorderCons:- won't record right-side-up video when mounted up-side-down on a car windshield or under the belly of a drone.- video is not clear even in 4k mode
    • I've had this camera for quite some time, takes amazing photos, and does not overhead when taking long videos like the 2017 version!
    • More expensive, but flawless video.
    • More expensive, but flawless video.
    • The videos are good but not great, but are really unique and stand out.#SamsungGear360#InsidersGear360Next Generation Wish List
    • I think it works great, good video and pictures
    • The videos aren't *quite* as good, but the seams are a *lot* less evident, the camera is very easy to carry (see photo of it in the change pocket of my jeans), it works with basically every phone out there (iOS or Android, at least), and the handle/carrying case is brilliant
    • Very good video, looks high tech and takes great pics and video.
    • First off, let me say I have owned various Samsung products over many years - and while I am generally pleased with the quality of things they make, I have always been disappointed with the LACK OF SUPPORT (mostly in the form of apps and downloads and compatibility with other non-Samsung products I own) - the Gear 360 takes nice HD video for sure - I took it on a trip to the Boundry Waters Canoe Area this past (2017) summer and it performed without any glitches (and it rained off and on the whole time we were up there!
    • So it's cool, but the pictures have an obvious stitch mark between both 180 spheres, American with videos, so there is always a blurry line splitting the pics and videos in half.
    • ....glad that i finally decided to get this as i have a high school reunion coming up and it should make for some very cool videos
    • 360 videos are exciting
    • Awesome video quality love it!
    • Awesome product easy to use amazing video
    • I have a very powerful editing PC (multicore recent i7, Crossfire RX580's, 16GB RAM) and the video hangs and crashes the software upon import
    • If you go with anything slower, the camera will bottleneck with video data and shut down after about 1 minute (and give you a nice, corrupted video
    • Bad video quality.
    • You may use the app for Ricoh 360 cams called Tetha + which is really good and editing pictures and videos, the only downside is that the videos will not stitch properly if you manually copy them from the SD card to the phone and edit them in Tetha + you will get this black bands around the pictures, the Samsung gear
    • It will take great videos
    • The little tripod it comes with is enough for static 360 shots... and that's fine, because unless you want to do a smooth, linear path with this camera, I would think that your audience would get a bit seasick from watching shaky video
    • your better of buying a bunch of go pro knock offs and having a bunch of different angles for editing which will make a better video then 1 single 360 camera could ever do for half the price
    • If you want sharp images and video, then this unit is NOT for you.
    • I use it hung from a Mavic Drone ... nice and easy to publish both 360 Panoramic interactive Stills and Panoramic interactive video on Facebook ...
    • BTW, the action director software that comes with it is the slowest video editing I have ever seen
    • The video is amazing.
    • Awesome 360° videos and easy to use.
    • The other problem is that the video is not clear even in 4K mode.
    • I recommend a light-stand since it is small form-factor and easy to remove in post.-360 video is a neat trick
    • The video and still stitching opera well at a distance but have some issues on near camera object
    • It seems like it might be a fun novelty for a teenager, but not the camera to buy if you need good quality video that you can do anything with.
    • an excellent video camera,
    • To sum it up the Samsung Gear 360 camera is a fun, creative, and easy to use device that allows me to take great pictures and videos to share 360 memories with my friends and family.
    • , it's a nice toy that takes very good quality video and audio, but you'll have some hurdles when it comes to taking all that footage and sharing it.
    • The biggest drawback is stitching 360 videos for uploading to YouTube or Facebook.
    • It looks like it just landed and it takes out of this world SHARP 360 video and photo
    • The videos come out pretty good but not as smooth as you would like.
    • pictures are great... videos are blurry
    • I would say that LEARNING on how to use it, is the most important thing that you can do to achieve great videos
    • I posted some pretty cool video with it and am looking forward to using it more.
    • the 360 video was cool but you can see the lines from the front and back camera.
    • great camera, great video and great pictures, if you looking for something simple to operate and with really nice results, this is it.
    • And the ones it does import often turn out as solid grey videos
    • Vant give it 5 starts with picture quality, but I will use it for impressive pictures and videos
    • The actual camera is awesome, shoots good video, battery lasts a good while, etc
    • , that will let you learn, and experiment! The Free 36 video programs:None of them work
    • But if you don't have Samsung phones, you will have to Google for alternative app to use this (the original app can't be used on other phone!)the quality of picture is great, and the videos are nice too, especially the sound is really clear in the video
    • The video is good for the money, but a feels bit low-res on a 15” display.
    • Cyberlink have a reputation for class-leading video editing software,
    • I have posted really sharp 460 videos on
    • Each video is limited to 8 minutes and 26 seconds, which is about 1.77 GB.The unit is still pocket sized for loose fitting jeans, but could use a 25% shrink to make it comfortable.
    • I wanted it to make 360 panoramic videos and photos
    • It is really easy to use and you will enjoy both the photos and videos that this camera takes.
    • Copy and paste the following link to check out the incredible videos I was able to capture with it
    • Have mounted it on my drone several times and it takes amazing video from 500 ft.
    • The video is unbelievably clear, and the photos are just under 30MP.The interface is intuitive and works perfectly with a supported device
    • The video this camera records is really nice and it pretty much "sees" 360 degrees, which is really cool!
    • Takes absolutely amazing pictures and video
    • How often have you watched a vacation or event video and often wondered, "I wish I could see what's happening further to the left, or the right, or behinds the scenes
    • It makes very decent 360 videos
    • Excellent video quality
    • It fits conveniently in a small bag so you can take it anywhere, pull it out, and have a beautiful 360 video to share on social media
    • and I may very well do this as a general rule of thumb
    • Photos aren't as clean as I
