Samsung Gear 360 Real 360° High Resolution VR Camera (US Version with Warranty)

    • Keeping the ISO at 400 makes for sharper and clearer photos, but still not like what the newer smart phones can get quality wise
    • The fact that i can control it witg my phone completely makes this camera great for youtubers at a low cost, because you can use your phone and record at the same time
    • Cons: you can't use any phone, you will have to use a Samsung Galaxy s7 in order to take remote shoots with the camera and to operate it
    • People can view them in the smart phone app or in the browser on the Facebook web site.
    • Use and pairing between your Gear 360 camera and your Galaxy or Note smart phone is pretty seamless and easy.
    • It doesn't work with any phones other then a samsung phone
    • I don't have a compatible Samsung phone, so relied on the free Action Director software to process and upload my videos to YouTube, but it seemed to do the trick
    • Third, the camera itself is near worthless without a compatible Samsung phone
    • One of my greatest things I ever bought, but here is what will make it even greater ( for Gear 360 2 perhaps!!):-The ability to share from Gear 360 manager with other phone apps (like Whatsapp) by uploading the 360 media to a Samsung hosted server without the need to use Facebook or any other hosts
    • Edit 2 - I just found out that you can't even set the time and date without a compatible Samsung phone
    • You need a Samsung Galaxy or Note smart phone, and the content you make is best enjoyed with a Gear VR visor.
    • This is the PC based editing software, necessary for those who are not pairing the camera to a compatible Samsung phone.
    • I'd suggest waiting for version 2.Pros:- does as advertised, 360 motion capture at 4k- compact case and tripod- standard camera mountCons:- seams are pretty blurry- awkward transfer mechanics- phone gets super hot during transfer- restricted to galaxyThe camera takes pretty good quality 360 degree shots
    • App needed for full functionality which only works on top of the line Samsung smart phones.
    • Not having compatible phone, I can only use PC to stitch footage
    • The camera is really cool but the phone app that supports it sucks.
    • I have Galaxy K (or Zoom) phone, but it is not supported :o( I couldn't even set the date without borrowing my neighbor's Galaxy Note let alone all other settings
    • Transferring files using the phone is useless (and causes the camera to overheat)
    • What's not very obvious is that you MUST have a compatible Samsung phone to take full advantage of this camera's abilities
    • And since you’re using your smart phone to do the processing, once finished, it couldn’t be easier to share your masterpiece to any of your social networks
    • If you don't have a compatible Samsung phone, you can take pictures and video using the buttons on the camera and a slight delay
    • If you don't have a SAMSUNG phone its useless
    • What used to take practically a super computer to do the stitching, can be done on a simple galaxy smart phone
    • Keep in mind this is meant to run with a Samsung smart phone
