    • I tried completely draining the battery and recharging fully to get them to keep a longer charge and they still only lasted maybe an hour.2

    • The second bad thing about thing is the terrible battery life
    • - The battery is pretty terrible
    • Having said that, if you are purchasing these for more than 60 minutes of exercise or just day to day casual listening you would be better off with Jaybird X3s or even the dreaded Powerbeats3 which both have far superior battery life.
    • But in all honesty, if there were just a pair of wireless blue tooth earbuds with no bell and whistles, better audio fidelity and decent battery life, that will be my next purchase.
    • I'd be willing to forego all the health tracking and just used them as a music and phone device if it would result in better battery life
    • The battery is the biggest issue
    • Better battery life and these would be great.
    • Streaming Bluetooth will drain the battery very quick, you'll be lucky to get 1.5hrs out of them
    • so you don't have to connect your phone and kill your phone battery or even bring your phone with you.
    • I recommend it, but the battery life is definitely something that needs addressing and knowing what I know now I'd probably go for a device that did less but had a better battery.
    • I purchased these for occasional use despite the reviews on the limited battery life
    • They manage to put a decent battery in both as well as a bluetooth receiver, data storage, and a chip• Sound
    • Horrible battery life
    • All features work great, but with limited battery life they are NOT worth the price! With problems Samsung is facing now, you would think they would do what ever they could to help, maybe update these with better battery life.
    • High quality, durable, good battery life, quality product
    • Sometimes they act like the battery is
    • Battery sucks and I guarantee you the right earbud will go out
    • The only major downside, in my opinion, is the poor battery life they seem to suffer from.
    • Battery life is horrible and worst of all; they continue to drain the battery and charge case battery continually.
    • Battery only last one hour, hard to control features with the ear piece.
    • the battery is total joke, last like 70 min
    • I had several issues; the worst being the battery in the ear buds lasted between 30 and 45 minutes
    • Short battery life and not loud enough
    • Battery sucks and I guarantee you the right earbud will go out
    • For my purposes, they work fine, but there are some design flaws like the constantly draining battery that has yet to be addressed by Samsung - if they even ever will.
    • For those complaining about battery life or other issues with them have never tried running with a Sony Walkman or a "portable" CD player.
    • All features work great, but with limited battery life they are NOT worth the price! With problems Samsung is facing now, you would think they would do what ever they could to help, maybe update these with better battery life.
    • Bluetooth earbuds have continued to get smaller and better sounding with better battery life.
    • Sound quality mediocre battery life sucks I'm being
    • If there is an updated version with a better battery life it would be awesome if Samsung (Amazon) to exchange for free.
    • Even though the battery is terrible, I keep them around because the sound is actually great
    • The battery sucks.
    • Poor Battery life, approximately 1 hour 20 minutes
    • The charging case is useless as it will drain the battery if you close them in there even if they are no being used
    • BATTERY LIFE-Pretty dismal
    • the solution for runner is wonderful, but the battery is poor
    • Atrocious battery life.
    • Another major issue that I've found with the related to battery life is that they drain battery when left unused (in case or otherwise) for a day or two
    • Buggy, Battery was discharging even while in the case
    • My first pair would not hold a charge longer than 20 min - got a replacement pair that works better, but will still drain the battery when sitting in the case?
    • that will kill the battery life.2
    • If the battery were better I would love them
    • Sound is excellent but battery life too short to make this product better than single ear blue tooth head sets by plantronics
    • so I deemed it to be a dead battery
    • If you've read the other reviews, you already know about the poor battery life, which is understandable for the 47mah built-in capacity
    • Very poor battery life, blue tooth lasts less than an hour
    • The major negatives are the poor battery life and the unreliable touch controls
    • The Iconx may not sound the best, or have the best battery life but for me they provide the better fit, and have the best sound stage
    • The battery life of the case and headphones deplete while not in use or connected to anything
    • One star rating is due to the VERY poor battery life especially when considering that you cannot have these just sitting on your desk for a few days and expect to pick them up and go for a run or hit the gym, because the batteries will be dead
    • 1.5 hours.- Bluetooth will drain your battery greatly and
    • Terrible battery life
    • Poor recharge system and terrible battery life.
    • If you are ok with a wire linking the 2 earbuds, I would recommend the Jaybird X2 which has much better battery life and a louder sound.
    • Great concept, horrible battery life and battery in the case.
    • Awesome audio quality, nice battery, charging pod (case) is just the right
    • The reason for the in-ear sensors is an attempt to preserve battery, which is critical due to the headphones extremely disappointing battery life
    • Fully charged batteries will die if not used within two days
    • I've owned 14-dollar bluetooth headphones with much better battery life.
    • The batteries tanked in a matter of weeks
    • Overall I would recommend in terms of quality and cool factor but be aware of the possible limitations with more aggressive workouts and battery life.
    • Poor battery life, decent sound
    • These are truly great earbuds and would be a 15 start perfect if they would last more than 1 -1 1/2 hours / I did not even get through my workout and they were dead - they need a better battery life.
    • Loses battery fast
    • Only downside is battery
    • Wow is the battery terrible; some reviews say that the battery lasts 1.5-3 hours like advertised
    • They also lose battery even when out of the case
    • I wouldn't recommend this for anything other than running, and not for marathon runners, as the battery will die before you finish, unless you're an elite runner
    • Maybe the next generation will be better with battery life and clarity.
    • So far the Rowkin earbud has provided a better battery life and equal microphone performance in a smaller package
    • Not only is the battery life very poor, but the standby time is awful as well
    • Battery always is drained when you try to use then and the left headphone seems to have issues as red light blinking
    • The batteries in these are absolutely horrendous
    • Wow is the battery terrible; some reviews say that the battery lasts 1.5-3 hours like advertised
    • Horrible battery life
    • If you fully charge both the headphones and case, unplug them, and try to use them 24 hours later, all three batteries will be fully drained
    • i have tried in the past and surprisingly doesn't drain battery as much but cant tell since my galaxy only last 24 hours on wireless charge for some
    • Also, if the case's battery dies, but your headphones both have a charge, the headphones sometimes won't turn off if you store them in the case, because they think they are still in your ear, meaning they will continue to drain their batteries
    • When the case WAS working, my biggest complaint was the battery
    • I have my doubts that I would ever like them especially as many people complain about poor battery performance, although mine did seem particularly bad
    • You do have an option of streaming podcasts directly from your phone but that diminishes the already limited battery life -- its single biggest weakness
    • The sound is good, enough battery power for almost an hour and half if you choose to play music from the earbuds storage, don't fall out of my ears while running, measures distance perfectly (not sure about heart beats)
    • and you cant keep them in the case or theyll just keep charging and the battery will be dead
    • Amazing battery life on either of those versions, despite the neckband.
    • I'd give it a B+, but because there's no wires, it's worth it IMO
    • Surprisingly easy to set up as well as in their use; intuitive, consistent controls, with useful feedback; well laid out - much better (simpler) approach than any similar buds.2
    • this is very important, the tips that these headphones come with suck, they are horrible, so look into foam tips and trust me, you will be shocked as to how good these sound, because they
    • However, as mentioned above they are not meant to be headphone replacements for extended time as they died in 1 hour 45 minutes just streaming music
    • There are bluetooth headphones with longer battery life that sit on the back of your neck or have ear pieces connected by a cord - Ive tried and dislike both as they are uncomfortable and even short cords can still get in the way
    • A while back I had purchased the "Comply Premium Replacement Foam Earphone Earbud Tips - Isolation T-400" for some other earbuds that I own and decided to try these on the IconX. when I put them on the true sound came through and it was absolutely fantastic

    • If you like R&B/Rap/Hip-Hop for working out you should be fine but don't count on great Bass.
