Samsung Gear S2 - Classic Platinum

    • The apps work great and the charging station is so incredibly easy to use.
    • The apps are a JOKE!!
    • Would give the 3g/4g version FIVE stars since some things are still a bit quirky and would like more apps on the phone to work from the watch..
    • Wished that there were more apps available
    • (I have a Samsung phone), Samsung Health is a great fitness tracking app that records vital health information, continual heart rate measurements, pairs nicely with any 20mm band, calendar display is amazing, gets call alerts that can be either answered or denied from the watch face, great screen with adjustable brightness and many different smart backgrounds to choose from, rotating bezel controls navigation in apps, very smart design!Cons: Bezel paint tarnished even with attention to properly caring for product (did not expose to water, chemicals, etc.), alarm function is not strong enough to wake me up (but is useful for reminders during the day)
    • The apps and games could definitely improve, but I can only seeing this product get better as time goes on
    • Can read emails from Gmail app and Inbox app, as well as Samsung's Email app
    • Wish it had more useful apps
    • He hasn't found a smart remote app for the TV but that would be a game changer- no more lost remotes!
    • Many additional apps available.
    • Large set of useful apps with one
    • The stock keyboard that comes with it is a pain, but the Agile app is much better to use in my opinion
    • (lasts about a day)-went on a little walking and started a workout automaticallyCons-hardly any apps worth using-must use the default messaging app phone to send messages on watchOverall a really good watch highly suggest getting.
    • Looks like an actual watch, feels good to wear, appropriate size for small wrists (hard to find among smart watches!), great apps that connect with phone
    • and you would be in your favorite app
    • And having a Tap and Pay feature, with no compatible apps is a HUGE error on Samsung's part
    • Not enough apps
    • Had hardly any good apps, only have like 2 choices for a band and really isn't water-proof.
    • There are no useful apps because Samsung thought they produce their own s***ty OS
    • The biggest drawback regarding the apps, is that they are tied to your smartphone.
    • I live in a hot climate and I'm finding my wrist very sweaty pretty much all the time.- White band (rose gold version) is easily dirtied and the pins to remove the bands are so stiff that I broke a portion of my nail off trying to change from the large to small band- Limited app selection, especially for free apps
    • The S2 Classic rotating bezel is a true innovation that will surely be copied by others but the Tizen operating system, to date, lacks some very practical apps easily found on other Android compatible watches.
    • The watch comes preloaded with certain popular widgets and apps, and you can add to them or delete them however you prefer
    • Easy app interface
    • If there is a problem it is that I cannot access some of my favorite Android apps on this watch
    • but the apps are much better
    • As for apps, people complain that there are not enough apps
    • I love the little apps and the fitness info that it gives me
    • LOTS of available watch faces to customize the display withCons: Band seems a little on the small side (but is quality material), VERY limited apps from Samsung right now.
    • To add insult to injury, from looking online in a futile attempt to get it working on my phones, I found that the app actively detects root and refuses to run
    • However, I find that I have more than enough apps to find enough uses on the watch.
    • While the watch has preloaded options for the background, and free app is available to make a custom background with almost any picture
    • The apps available are kinda low class and amateurish and the variety is lacking.
    • I wish it had more free apps
    • The apps are somewhat limited but it tells time and looks fantastic, which is what I was after
    • The apps are limited and it would be really nice to have google maps when you are in a city.
    • Great apps.
    • The apps are easy to access and you can customize what apps you'd like to have direct access to-- widgets, basically
    • Hopefully more apps become compatible with it but other than that the watch is great.
    • I have tried multiple GPS settings, as well as different apps (Nike+ and S Health).
    • very nice watch but limited apps.
    • Only downside is I feel that the apps are pretty limited but other than that its sexy smart watch
    • Not to impressed with the timer feature which I use a lot in my work but the apps like map my run is great and this has
    • Less App Support Than Android WearNo Camera
    • Poor app selection
    • Anywho - I bought this because I was tired of fitness trackers with less than stellar fitness apps.
    • The biggest drawback regarding the apps, is that they are tied to your smartphone.
    • , stylishCons :Not android OS so apps are limited to Galaxy StoreNot enough customizationYou can't change the default search or messanger appBlack scratches easily
    • Despite what many critics call a relative lack of available apps, it's really a cool gadget
    • There are a lot of junky apps for this
    • Also, trying clearing running apps before a workout.
    • This gives for very limited app ssupport
    • And having a Tap and Pay feature, with no compatible apps is a HUGE error on Samsung's part
    • Just follow the instructions, trust me) and get it going, it's a nice app to get customized watch face's
    • All the apps really work great although I do wish there were more.
    • I had disabled the Samsung health app on my phone, but on my wrist, I appreciate the step counter and activity monitor a lot more
    • While I feel the apps are sorely lacking that the developers issues
    • , i thought there would be more apps available for
    • Why the heck I can't put all the apps I want in the list of favorites?Find phone is great
    • I had a Samsung Gear Neo that had an amazing running app and for whatever reason this watch uses a *HORRIBLE* Nike running app
    • I bought it for the size, not too big or thick, I love the apps especially for fitness tracking.
    • Due to Samsung's decisions to run Tizen, many apps on your ANDROID phone will not be compatible with the watch, which also brings me to another annoyance
    • To tell the time, have to rotate the bezel or press a side button, taking two hands and often starting up the wrong screen or app
    • You can download a free app that can use your pictures as a face
    • I disabled all the news apps, I don't want that sort of data downloading automatically, and I do wish it used and interfaced with Google maps instead
    • and you can arrange apps as you like
    • Two family members have also purchased this watch because they seen all the cool apps in it.
    • The other apps are fun and a lot of them are quite useful on a watch
    • App availability and support on the other hand sucks badly
    • Nice apps.
    • Great watch but horrible apps.
    • We love the SHealth app which pulses the watch when you've been inactive awhile and gets you up and moving
    • ; apps are decent - I don't need a lot - will probably never use for games
    • Excellent screen, intuitive apps and looks very nice.
    • Can't sync this watch, or its apps, with many popular apps
    • My one complaint is that the Tizen operating system will never have the kind of developer interest that Android Wear has, leaving the Gear S2 behind the curve when it comes to functionality with many popular apps.
    • If they got more apps/made development easier for the devs then I'd give it 5 stars
    • Love all the features and with more and more apps coming available this is a great product
    • Great device, the platform just is lacking app support.
    • It does sync to the Nike App however the Nike app is only good for individual workouts not all day monitoring
    • He especially likes the apps and the pedometer features
    • But the apps that are available are good
    • Customization of backgrounds is practically infinite, vibration works great, screen is very touch responsive and precise, lots of cool apps that go with it, heart rate monitor very accurate
    • I set "music" to be my first app when i swipe to the left for quick access
    • My husband got it for me as a Christmas present December 2015 and I absolutely love the bevel and the apps and the step counting
    • Great watch but horrible apps.
    • Pretty much any app on your phone is available on the watch (not counting games, of course).
    • Many had complained that there were not enough apps on here I really don't know what else they want their watch to do
    • When I calmed down I downloaded the app which insisted on downloading more apps, which I deleted, keeping the initial
    • I sent it to the Samsung and they were unable to repair the watch or honor the warranty as they did not have the parts or the software to fix it.
    • Only down side is that as others have mentioned the apps are limited as of now
    • You can hear the glass creaking as you wear it
    • My suggestion to you all is, if you must buy this watch, get it from Best Buy with a 2 year warranty and make them replace it every year when the battery starts to die as it will.
    • Works exactly as I want it to, except doesn't have a Starbucks app which the Fitbit ionic and versa do
    • Even though HR is on demand meaning you need to touch the screen to check heart rate it does not bother me as I thought it would
    • Voice to text just doesn't work as it comes
    • You can set as many notifications as you'd like from your phone (which I do), but you can't access them directly on the watch
    • It freezes at least once a
