I think that some of the smart home features could be better-developed
the Q60 is an excellent TV with great picture and tons of smart features
Overall, this TV provides excellent image quality and advanced smart TV features in a format that is relatively easy to install and use.
Using the former method of connecting (all devices to the receiver) will cause the receiver to do the upscaling unless it doesn't have that feature or the feature is disable on the receiver
It really shines for gaming, and the "smart" features are overall pretty good.

What I dislike to the point of returning the television is the Bixby feature
Awesome television!
This Samsung television is astounding, and separates itself from value-priced offerings in several ways.1
They have also noted that the television can't get bright enough for a really bright room, but I view it in my great room, which is surrounded by windows and it seems bright enough.
The app works well and controls the television just like the regular remote, except you can't turn on the television with the app.

Sound could be stronger but, better than most flat lcd's out there.
I tested the built in speakers for sound and the sound was decent
The sound is horrible, no volume and just sounds bad
I have a 5.1 system connected via the optical output to my stereo that I fire up when I want to listen to Dynamic Sound, however regular sound from the TV is not bad
TV speakers have notoriously bad sound, and while this TV won't blow you away it does manage to have a little more bass than your average built-in

But this TV leaves you with basically audio to hear until dark scenes pass
For very dark scenes, a bit of edge bleed is visible, and the panel gets a very slight "smudgy" look, especially when watching in a dimly-lit room
Dark scenes in movies are way too dark
