    Samsung UN65HU8550 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD 120Hz 3D Smart LED TV (2014 Model)

    • It’s almost magical, but at 30 hz, it lacks the smoothness I want for fast motion.
    • There is a lot of motion blur (fast movements get distorted ), jerkiness when watching over the air or a cable feed from the coax input, skin tones washed out, white balance not great, there is a blue'ish tint to the screen, the clearest picture
    • This one, with 120Hz, is really nice, and the Clear Motion Rate of 1200Hz can help when you are watching sports, or action movies
    • First 4k looks stunning but fast motion not so good
    • Judder reduction: 5LED Clear Motion:
    • Motion is extremely smooth with no soap opera effect at all that I've noticed with the multiple settings I've toyed around with.
    • I recommend turning off the motion smoother because it introduces soap opera effect.-Also, I watched "Regular Show" on Comcast, the characters left very noticeable ghosting
    • The motion sensitive remote seems more of a gimmick with poor aiming accuracy
    • Colors are vivid & Motion Blur is minimal
    • But, if you don't use the clear motion feature, it's true that it will look like a typical LED-LCD..like crap.
    • Sound-No Camera (optional)-No motion control (ready for
    • I wonder if the other HDMI ports will be updated via a firmware update.- Recommended Seating distance 9ft this is not an exaggerated claim, you will need the distance for 3D especially., see more below)-Clear motion rate
    • Watching world cup, I didn't have any issues with motion blur or judder if you tune the display as reported by others here
    • Fortunately Samsung includes a second standard remote if the user prefers it to the compact motion sensitive one
    • It has a clear motion rate of 1200 which allows you to enjoy fast-moving movies with minimal motion blur.
    • The black frame insertion feature "LED Clear Motion" works well and I enjoyed it while I had it on, but it needs a backlight in the teens to be bright enough (which introduces some of the light bleed I am trying to avoid).
    • =s recommendation - never bothered with itsmart hub is perfect!!voice and motion ready
    • I'm a hater of the Soap Opera Effect, but I have been enjoying the Auto Motion Plus set to Custom with Blur set to 6-8 and
    • I call Samsung support, they remote into my tv and try changing picture settings and so forth and reset the TV to get rid of the blurry motion
    • Colors are amazing black levels are great and motion is amazing
    • Judder reduction: 5LED Clear Motion:
    • I did not see any problems with basketball (where the motion is much slower)
    • There is a lot of motion blur (fast movements get distorted ), jerkiness when watching over the air or a cable feed from the coax input, skin tones washed out, white balance not great, there is a blue'ish tint to the screen, the clearest picture
    • Numerous sources recommend these to remove motion blur.blur reduction: 10judder reduction: 0 yes, zeroLED clear motion: - not much visible difference either way.

    • The picture, CPU, memory, everything will be the same as the F9000 which is only 5 months older, and clear motion rate is the same.
    • You see smooth crisp fluid motion
    • I'm still working on all of the picture settings that need to be adjusted (blur, judder, contrast, clear motion, brightness, eco settings, etc.).
    • 10judder reduction: 0LED clear motion
    • but TV's nowdays use clear motion rate instead of Hz
    • As long as you use the clear motion feature, the sports will look nearly identical to those found on a plasma TV.
    • Upgraded from a 60" LG plasma, out of the box the calibration is not very good it will come in dem mode and will make everything you watch look soap opera like this is because of the motion smoothing
    • For this model, initially Samsung used a T-GFP chipset that fully supports 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma
