Excellent sound upgrade from standard HD Samsungs

Native sound is pretty

Because all my sound goes through my receiver its easier not to use the "smart TV" features anyway I guess.

Even is the TV is incredibly thin, it still has a powerful and clear sound

I am now watching a Sony Bravia tv that cost $700 new and streaming Netflix with sound AND picture sans any problems that were part and parcel of the Samsung tv we paid more than twice as much for.

This UHD TV has the best picture and sound of any tv I have seen or heard

Sound is very good on its own but we generally have the sound come through our stereo speakers.

For a TV, the sound can be good, but the default sound is horribly muddy as are all of the choices except Clear Voice.

TVs these days are not made to have good sound.

Sound from the TV is good, but I added the low-end Samsung sound bar w/subwoofer, which is excellent

Of course, if you're spending this much on a tv, you probably have a halfway decent sound system to run it through and won't use the speakers

The TV is also really thin, which is also really beautiful when you look at it from the side.- the sound is amazing for this kind of TV

A few not so great things: The stand is average looking, the sound is pitiful and you will definitely want a soundbar, and the TV is still pricey - it has already dropped $200 since I purchased less than 2 months ago and I would imagine this will continue

Samsung recommend the Dynamic picture setting and the Clear voice sound setting.

The sound is adequate, though we did go ahead and add a Sonos soundbar and 2 Play Ones to get surroundsound effect.

Really, the sound was actually physically painful to listen to until I adjusted the levels within the equalizer.

Did a lot of research before buying this, and love it , great picture, sound , plus save over $500 on cost with no major differences.

Easy to install, the picture exceeded my expectations, the sound is okay for the price I paid, and overall think the TV is everything I wanted it to be.

I did not like the sound, requires a home theater, and the mouse (cursor) is not very accurate, little control is very sensitive

This is no big deal if you are using external sound, which you should as sound is never great coming from t.v

newer HDMI standards appear- free one terabyte external USB HDD with 10 movies and a bunch of demos (temporary promotion, so get it while you can)Cons:- really, really bad off-axis image- blacks seem to be crush in dark scenes- Mediocre sound, but better than the average set- Setup a bit

I gave it low stars because of shipping, the first tv was malfunctioning a whurring sound (cooling fan) and it was overheating

I have a onkyo 626 with Polk rti 8 towers and matching center and the rx6 surround speakers making the sound perfect and amazing like imax but without the harsh base

This TV has numerous sound issues, including sounding cutting out, intermittent sound to sound bar.

Sound is weak

Very easy to setup.it took a little time to figure out how to get everything hooked up to my home theater system and ps4 and my xbox, but once it was all hooked up everything looks in sounds great.

The 3-D feature works fine with 3-D DVDs and can't wait to try with streaming video
