    Samsung UN75JU7100 75-Inch 4K Ultra HD 3D Smart LED TV (2015 Model)

    • Even with Samsung's Smart TV apps, it's still easier to just use your phone in my opinion
    • The remote takes some learning, but I like the fact that there are few buttons to try and find when the room is dark, most of the buttons are now virtual appearing on the TV.Unfortunately the apps in the Smart Hub are not as smart as I would like.
    • Loved everything about the TV, I was surprise that the smart app on it was able to connect to my NAS drive to play mp4 files.
    • The Samsung app does not work on my Samsung Note 5, that was pretty disappointing
    • Commencing in JUNE 2016, SKYPE app will no longer be supported by Microsoft on SMART TV
    • However, the Samsung App Store is horrible and lacks basically any useful app you would want besides Netflix and Amazon Video
    • It's slow, it's not intuitive, and there are few desirable apps for it
    • The apps I used were just not ready, and I wasnt willing to wait and hope that Sony would fix them
    • The apps are pretty disappointing in general, not that I was expecting much
    • This is just a quick little note to let everyone know what I just recently discovered regarding the wifi problems, updates and limited apps.
    • The smart apps that can be downloaded are easy to find, use, and run smoothly on the TV.
    • The picture is great, the TV tuner is strong, and the Smart App functionality is truly useful now
    • Occasionally, after properly exiting the apps and SmartHub, the TV displays "Mode Not Supported" and turning the TV off and back on is the only solution for this issue as well
    • There are now many more apps available, including Amazon, Netflix, YouTube, ADC, CinemaNow and more

    • How do you launch a UHD TV with no smart apps
    • So I made my way to a retailer picked one up and performed the update and boom the TV started to work as I was used, BUT their was like less than 10 apps available, such as Amazon Prime and Hulu, NO Netflix or HBO Go (eventually a month later Netflix became available). The launch of
    • It goes to a black screen every 1 to 2 minutes then back, none of the smart hub apps work without crashing, the sound cuts in and out, the menus don't respond correctly, and Samsung says so sorry no warranty so pay for a repair
    • It has amazing picture, perfect performance in video games, and the apps all just work and work well
    • I had the following four issues:Audio synchronizationPicture judderGetting apps like Netflix to play through the home
    • Getting apps like Netflix to play through the home theater system
    • I mean the only news app available is FOX and BBC which is a shame
    • , The apps are great, screen mirroring, Internet browser, and voice operated remote
    • The apps, wifi, and functions all worked for me and I like the remote
    • Are willing to reset the smart hub and re-enter in all you names and credentials with amazon, netflix, vudu, and other smart apps every month (the more apps you have the more painful this becomes)3.) are willing to buy a Roku to simply bypass the super crappy unstable Smarthub software
    • Sometimes the "smart apps" are not that smart however, but that is the norm with all smart tv's.
    • Also, some apps don't work at all (i.e. Vimeo)
    • The apps (e.g. Netflix and Amazon) are intuitive and easy to use.
    • I wouldn't use my phone for things like Netflix or Amazon Prime, in that case I'll use the Smart TV apps for it since the resolution and sound you know will be very good... but for quick things, and things like Twitch.tv that don't have Samsung apps, it's really nice to be able to get your phone to show up on your big screen in less than 5
    • Turned off automatic updates and reset to initial settings and refreshed the NETFLIX app and the 85" Samsung UHD TV has been awesome since
    • No app issues and no ridiculous ads
    • What I mean is that there are very few apps most are not very useful and there is no real way to get around this with their app store
    • The saving grace is that I can stream some shows using the Smart Hub apps for Hulu, Netflix, etc, but with the failed one-connect, I have to use the TVs speakers for sound.

    • A couple of tips for you, in case you buy this TV: Turn off ECO (economy) mode for screen dimming as it doesn't work well and be annoying at
    • It has its own problems (unpolished Android OS with many app issues), but the blacks are better and more uniform; the image doesn’t degrade nearly as bad off-center similar to the old Sharp

    • I've found the issue exists when watching anything connected to a cable as well as from the apps (Netflix, HBO) from the internet.
    • It is not nearly as bad as with the older models
