    Samsung Xpress M2020W Wireless Monochrome Laser Printer with Simple NFC + WiFi Connectivity, Amazon Dash Replenishment Enabled (SS272H)

    • I spent a great deal of time with Samsung tech support and finally got to an extremely helpful person who sent me a file with an installer (wireless settings mac 1.4.8) which made everything work instantly and flawlessly on both my Macbook Air and my iPad (using the "Samsung Mobile Print" App).
    • The form let me know that my warranty expired, which I assumed meant I couldn't send it back, but it also means I can't receive any tech support on the phone
    • Talked to two agents at tech support and they could not help.
    • WPS was the issue and tech support sent me in the wrong directionInitial printer setup was easy on my MacBook Pro and took less than 10 minutes to setup and print over Wi-Fi network.
    • The wireless networking was not working on my Mac and I spent about 45 minutes in a chat with Samsung Tech Support doing a remote session
    • Once you've gotten a windows-based computer arranged to do this setup, the real fun starts (mine took several online tech support chats with people from India that only advanced the process a bit each lengthy session).
    • Tech support told me a PC was needed even though this model was touted as being able to set up just using a Chromebook.
    • So worthless, and with all the tech support past return date
    • Tech support didn't even want to bother testing the direct WPS set-up
    • And Samsung tech support was very disappointing
    • Took over two hours with Tech support.
    • After two hours, tech support, and borrowing a laptop to set up using the included USB cable, this thing would not connect to my network.
    • Had to get tech support for my laptop connection
    • I do tech support, but it took me too long to figure out how to install this
    • Samsung tech support was called - and after another 3-4 hours online with them, they determined the printer to be defective.
    • And this was AFTER getting tech support via chat and Twitter.
    • Just in case SAMSUNG has farmed all it's tech support out to HP, I will never again by a Samsung printer.
    • I was told by tech support after half an hour of us trying different things that this printer will not connect with a dual band router
    • Samsung tech support eventually told me I could take the printer to someone who did have a PC and set it up there
    • Samsung Tech support was little and no help.....
    • After 3 hours with tech support, still won't work wireless
    • : I went online and chatted with Samsung tech support and they told me to print a test page by pushing the WPS
    • Really just spent the extra bucks for Wi-fi as a convenience for the occasional houseguest and can easily live without it, not worth packing up and returning printer or spending more wasted hours on phone with Samsung tech support.
    • Tech support said you need a "host" computer to make this work and not just your chomebook
    • Several times the tech support guy had to put me on hold while he consulted with his managers because the instructions that he had were incorrect.
    • And Samsung tech support was very disappointing
    • But I do NOT want to have to contact tech support for every printing project.
    • Tech support didn't even want to bother testing the direct WPS set-up
    • LONGER GIVES TECH SUPPORT FOR THIS PRINTER.!!
    • One thing I do know for a fact is that the Samsung tech support people I talked to really had no clue how to help me.
    • I told tech support that this started when I held down the WPS button and they told me to press it again for 5 seconds until the light blinks, that didn’t work.a
    • After 6 hours trying to set up the wireless function, including 2 hours on the phone with Samsung Tech support, it appears the printer was defective right out of the box!!!
    • Unfortunately, after spending over 4+ hours talking with various tech support personnel in India to get the Cloud Printing to work, I gave up and bought an HP.
    • and it's fallen offline at least a dozen times where I then I have to talk with tech support for hours to get it back on
    • After many hours with six tech support people over two days the printer would not connect to wifi where I easily connect iPhone, iPad and Macbook to wifi effortlessly
    • Got lots of bad advice from Samsung tech support.
    • I'm just disappointed that their Tech Support person wouldn't know this already, would have had me running much quicker saving all the poking around
    • After a half a dozen hours setting and resetting, installing and re-installing, and an hour on the phone with tech support, I have given up - it will be quicker to print by hand than to try and print something from an android tablet to this printer
    • Called another tech support rep who knew very little about the web-based configuration software
    • Called Samsung tech support and spent 3 hours working with them.
    • Then got ahold of a tech support person on the phone that I literally could not understand.
    • I only found that out after calling tech support, going through all the back and forth of name, phone, email, serial #, product#, etc before he says, "I can't give you any support over the phone
    • after one month, wireless printing didn't work, so I called tech support and spent 2 hours for debugging
    • Tech support said we have to have a Windows computer to correct the problem.
    • I have a Mac and a Chromebook, and it took Samsung tech support 90 minutes to get it up and going
    • Could not return it via a website, had to speak to tech support, who hung up on me twice, and then never picked up the call on the third time.
    • Tech support was "impressive" in time spent talking, troubleshooting, remotely taking over my computer (mac) etc
    • I even had a Samsung tech support guy take control of my computer remotely to set it up and HE couldn't get it to connect, either.

    • Next Samsung tech support told me my Chromebook firewall was causing the problem and I should call the Chromebook manufacturer's tech support and have then fix that problem.
