These tough USB slots will push the USB connector back into the body which can be annoying.

I have always loathed the idea of using USB keys to transfer large amounts of data since USB2.0 (and even the cheaper USB 3.0 sticks) are soooo slow

I would still recommend to buy for the future and get a 3.0 even if your old computer doesn't support the newer usb 3.0

I like the speed of these drives but now that I have had a few of them fail on me unexpectedly with the loss of data and "non formatted" error message I would not suggest SanDisk Extreme as a good USB 3.0 drive and consider alternate competitors.
