SanDisk Extreme PRO 240GB SATA 6.0Gb/s 2.5-Inch 7mm Height Solid State Drive (SSD)

    • Excellent Disk
    • well got disk and installed there dashboard was told it comes with onetime
    • Super fast! When full, as usual in hard disks, the speed is decreased
    • I think Apple tests their OS with flash drives, so as they increase the Input/Output read write counts when adding features/security protections, they don't notice the issues caused in systems with using hard disks.
    • I also picked up a Anker® 2.5 Inch USB 3.0 Hard Drive Disk External Enclosure Case for 9.5mm & 7mm 2.5" SATA HDD and SSD to connect to the PC via USB 3.0, to use when cloning my existing drive onto the new SanDisk Extreme PRO SSD via a free program called: Macrium Reflect
    • Miss the constant noise of the hard disk, and at times I still have to check to see if my computer is still running
    • My Seagate 7200 3-TB hard disk drive which is Enterprise class reads and writes at 180MB/
    • The disk is stable, and the 10 year warranty is great peace of mind
    • A very nice ssd disk
    • Although it isn't a move from conventional hard disk to
    • I'm impressed enough with the read/write speeds of this drive to consider installing it in my Mac and using the hard disk that is currently in it as an external
    • I replaced my standard spinning hard disk in my laptop (Samsung 700Z, Windows 7) with a hybrid (half SSD, half disk) drive about a year ago, and it didn't take long to regret that decision
    • This software is easier for the non-geek because it does one thing exceeding well--clone your disk.
    • Finally, I migrated my User folders to the SanDisk SSD boot volume from one of the other internal hard disks
    • As I wasn't aware of this (i.e. initialization has to be done first) when I got the drive, I thought the disk was defective (I even took the drive to best buy to have it inspected, they thought so too).
    • I love how my computers are no longer clicking away all the time with the poor hard disks seeming to work their little hearts out
    • So the only thing i would like to point out is, if you connect this SSD to a PC via a enclosure for the firs time, (at leas in my case, using ORICO 2588US3 USB 3.0 2.5 - inch SATA External Hard Drive HDD Case.), the drive will not be recognized at all, which is in contrast to what some of the reviewers commented on this product(it will show up in the windows as a hard disk )
    • This is a fantastic workflow when dealing with clients and as far as the disk itself-- super fast and reliable
    • I really don't know how a 479$ Hard Disk ships without a data-migration CD or software
    • I cloned my existing hard disk (128 GB SSD ) in the laptop I just bought to this SSD drive, it took only less than 10 seconds (could be much less).A side note, Amazon makes the return REALLY easy
    • This disk do not work in a Mac OS environment
    • Presently, I actually have over 30 TB of stored files available and this is why I use a smaller, faster disk to work from, because a 1 TB SSD won't help me much and a 2 TB HDD is about $80 instead of $550
    • (Logic X).I tried a few different USB3 SSD and hard disk connections until I came to this drive
    • Impressive I/O speeds!
    • Bought this for RAW 4K recording and works without issues.
