Love the unit, odd thing with battery though, at half charge it dies.

It crapped out on me and wouldn't let me add new songs, then the batter finally lost a charge after a couple of months' use.

Full charge then unable to turn off, goes to zero

trouble with it turning itself off even when fully charged. trouble with it when trying to use a mini card for more song storage.... finally doesnt turn on at all

Different issues with each, most recent one won't hold a charge

It's output signal was very weak (very low volume) and the battery wouldn't hold a decent charge

The replacement presented with the same issues out of the box: inaccurate charge display, and very annoying sound delivery

While I like the size, color options and ease-of-use of this device, it just doesn't hold a charge and I find myself constantly having to re-charge this

and I seriously question why they've made the changes they have since these older models have far more options for how you want to play your music, allowing you to play your music by genre as well as by author, album, etc

I replaced a 10-year-old Cowen iAUDIO U2 with this, partially because people wrote that the sound quality Some people compared the audio quality as "as good" or "nearly as good" as Cowen devices or inexpensive "audiophile" units.

Battery might not be as fresh as when they put it in

and you have 40g of music available

I added an inexpensive 64G microSD card and I now have more than 100 CDs stored on it using lossless FLAC encoding.
