SanDisk Ultra 128GB Dual Drive USB Type-C (SDDDC2-128G-G46)

    • I bought this USB device in anticipation of upgrading my phone to a USB-c one and I find it more sturdy than the previous generation otg USB-3 flash drive
    • For this drive to write over two times slower than a cheap USB 3.0 flash drive is insane
    • This flash drive is perfect
    • But the flash drive became super hot after transferring some large files to it
    • Flash drive is a good solid device for storage but won't recommend for daily large file transfers.
    • The flash drive works as advertised (I haven't bothered checking for speeds), but my reason for not giving it five stars is because of how hot it gets.
    • This USB Flash drive is so small...and with dual ports for my PC and Chromebook / cellphone, it's perfect for my needs.
    • Love it tho, its faster than airdropping or emailing files from my USBC only MacBook to my USB3.0 pc. because of this unique time of differing standards, this is the ONLY flash drive that lets me move files between platforms, for that I give it 5 stars.
    • Love this flash drive.
    • This is the cheapest feeling flash drive I have ever used

    • fast transfers and great feature for a MacBook pro or any strict USB type c device but the flash drive becomes really hot in only a few minutes, will this eventually lead to data loss I really cant tell.
    • This flash drive is great if you need to travel with it as it is very small
    • Although it works, the functionality has been reduced to a common USB A flash drive.
    • My cheap verbatim 3.0 flash drive i bought last year is 4 minutes faster at writing 4.34gb worth of files than this piece of junk (comparing Type-A port, haven't used the Type-C port)
    • actually USB 3.0!The flash drive also gets EXTREMELY hot to the touch while in use.
    • Flash drives with toggle switches are always a little bit finicky, but this one is practically unusable.
    • This drive worked both for my vacations, road trips as well as to copy pictures and other data to my phone
    • I bought a 4TB external drive that was faulty, so I bought this in order to recover as much as I could from an older external drive that died
    • However, my impression for SanDisk isn't as great as before
    • Bold lies from a company that strangely actually makes an extremely fast transferring USB3.0 drive (sanDisk Extreme) that peaks at almost 200MB/s, yet this newer drive, with USBC can't even break 10MB/s.
    • The read performance of this flash drive is perfect for on drive activity and receives an even better than 150MB/s reading at all times
